Channel hopping with Fidji and Mylo

Jack Russell Terrier Fidji belongs to French couple Sophie and Mathieu, who live in London and spent the Easter break with family in Paris. On their frequent trips to and from Paris, they usually drive Fidji themselves, but this time Mathieu returned to London ahead of the rest of the family. With her two young daughters, Tara and Stella, to focus on, Sophie called Animalcouriers to transport Fidji. Fidji is quite a character dog and, true to her breed, she was watching every mouthful of lunch the girls were eating when courier Richard arrived. Tara (seated) with her younger [...]

Two Channel hops: four cats and two dogs

Courier Richard recently made two Channel hops, collecting four cats on the first one, and two dogs on the second. Spike, Basta, Cleo and Korky This fab feline quartet hail from the Lot et Garonne. Transporting cats from France to the UK

Courier Richard recently made a couple of trips transporting cats from France to the UK. Grizzly Grizzly (so named because as a kitten he looked like a little bear) and his family have swapped Marseille for London. Owners Jane and IanĀ had to leave Marseille before Grizzly could travel, so they asked their neighbour Eric to take care of him. But Grizzly must have heard we were on our way, because he disappeared! Jane flew to Marseille in the hope of luring him back, but there was no sign of him. So our courier left empty handed. Fortunately, the second attempt [...]

Roundup of news about recent passengers: Castor, Jim, Haricot, Rubble, Tara and Rocco

We have a few snippets of news about some recent passengers from our lastĀ trip round southern Europe. And just before couriers M and J set off on that trip, courier Richard did a quick channel hop to France to meet a young fellow called Castor. A long trip north to the Orkneys; and a short hop across the Channel

Tybalt, from London to the Orkneys Sarah and her young family have moved from London to Westray, in the Orkney Islands, where Sarah is to be the head teacher of the local primary school. Sarah rang us last year for help with the challenging of moving the family's cat, Tybalt. There are no longer any flights to Orkney that take pets; the only route is by boat from Scotland to the main ports of Kirkwall and Stromness. Sarah's brother Will offered to take Tybalt with him when he went to visit; but researching the options for doing so stretched even [...]
