Pet travel through southern and southeastern Europe

In February Animalcouriers made pet travel trips through southern and southeastern Europe. Courier Paul headed to Portugal via France and Spain, while couriers Glenn and Alan travelled to Greece and back via Italy and Austria. Channel hopping pets: Ayla, and Lyra and Zaul

Courier Richard made a couple of recent trips to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport to collect channel hopping pets and their owners. Ayla, a dog from Brazil to East Sussex via Paris CDG Brazilian beauty Ayla is an enchanting Pomeranian, who travelled with her owners Stefania and Rodriguez at the end of January. The family had a long journey, starting with a four-hour drive to the airport in Brazil for their flight to Paris. From Greece with dogs and cats travelling to the UK by air and road

We drove to Greece to meet dogs and cats travelling to the UK by air and road. We split the trip between plane and van as so many animals were on the move. Many of our passengers were beloved family pets; others were strays and rescues going to new homes in the UK. First, let's meet the pets travelling by road. Courier Richard recently made three short trips, relocating pets to France and Scotland, and taking Betty Boop to her holiday destination. April and Rose Delightful cats April and Rose belong to Dan and family, who've relocated from Manchester to Rambouillet. It's a charming spot south of Paris, with a magnificent chateau and a thriving market town full of character. Channel hopping and a short trip to France

During May a number of our couriers were on the road, including Richard and Paul doing channel hopping and a short trip to France respectively. Sammy Gorgeous puss Sammy and owner Julia, a recent law graduate, drove for six hours to New York's JFK airport. By the time they landed at Paris Charles de Gaulle, courier Richard was a welcome sight. Pets travelling from Portugal and Spain to the UK

Couriers J and M flew out to take over from courier Paul, to collect pets travelling from Portugal and Spain to the UK. Lucas Handsome ginger-tabby-and-white Lucas belongs to Ana, who's swapped Lousa in Portugal for Nottinghamshire. We collected Lucas from Katia, a vet nurse who's been taking care of him since Ana went on ahead. Pets from Bahrain to Scotland; and from the UK to southern Europe

Courier Richard delivered a family of pets from Bahrain to their new home in Scotland. On the way back, he collected a new set of passengers who joined our trip to southern Europe with courier Paul. Filbert, Lulwa, Nikki, Weasel and George Parakeet Filbert flew in from Bahrain ahead of his housemates (a dog and three cats). All five pets are Bahrain rescues who live happily together.
