Handsome hound Fobius from the Filozoikos Shelter in Athens, Greece, has found a loving new home in Bahrain. Fobius spent a few months in the UK for his travel preparations to be completed, then homeboarded with Animalcouriers the night before his flight. Courier R got up early to drive him to the airport, and he’s now on his way to join his excited new owners.
Courier H drove Dachshunds Georgie and Leo, who hail from the Isle of Wight, to their French summer holiday destination in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, near Nice. They went completely bananas when they caught sight of owner Jay!
Meanwhile Courier D headed to the north of England with old and new faces on board. One of the newcomers is Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Archie. This sweet and friendly chap is on his way from the Portsmouth area to Bewdley in Worcestershire.
The other new faces are seven-month-old Golden Retriever Heidi, and her cat chums Betty and Rocky, collected a few days ago in the Netherlands and now on their way to Lancashire. Heidi stayed briefly with courier M and his Golden Retriever Amber. She settled in really well and showed her playful side, exploring the garden and even persuading Amber to play, too.
The ‘old’ faces are Carriça and Diesel, two cats who crossed the Channel with us on our most recent trip from continental Europe. Both homeboarded with courier J and are now on their way to rejoin their owners.
Last but not least, Tom called in to our Surrey base to collect his beloved Lab Lexi. They’re now off to the Isle of Wight to join Lexi’s equally beloved brother Leo, who’s gone on ahead with friends.
I’m curious… post after post I view all your little babies going all around the world in your care. Have you ever refuse to take an animal into a dangerous area, fearing for the life of the pet? (the world has gotten so crazy lately).
That is a good question.
Yes, it is.
We’ve never been asked to arrange transport for pets going to dangerous areas – guess our clients are sane enough not to risk putting their babies lives in danger.
Thrilled to hear that!!
Heidi ho Heidi hi, Fobius takes off in the sky (I know! It’s another pesky little ditty). Adorable group of dogs and cats.
Pesky for sure but not bad 😉
Of course big hugs and kisses – they all deserve it.
They certainly do.
Fobius has a long journey ahead of him; but nice to know he’s found the home of his dreams
He certainly had but worth every single second!
A beautiful bunch of travelers!
They are a rather gorgeous bunch.
What a great bunch of cuties this trip!
Yup, a lovely lot!
I first thought that’s Leah… but maybe Archie and Leah are cousins?
It’s possible, they’re both gorgeous!
Fobius’s a very handsome pup! I hope he enjoys his new home!
He’s handsome and jolly lucky!
What a wonderful group of photos……hope everyone is happy when they get home sweet home!
Pam and Sam
Awwww, they are all so adorable AC! It’s always so wonderful to see how happy they are when they meet up with their parents. Little Archie is so sweet. I love that little face! 😀
lovely pets, safe travels
Fobius and Lexi would be quite happy at Casa de Canterbury, we think. We may have a Vacancy Sign up in our home and in our hearts before too much longer…
You have a fabulous group of travelers this time – how many couriers do you have now? I’m just curious…maybe nosy…:) Safe travels to you!
Such beautiful animals. Their families must be so happy to be reunited with them.
They’re all gorgeous!
