We leave the UK with three cats; and start our trip back from Greece with 11 dogs, 11 cats, a Macaw and a Chinchilla on board

Couriers M and Mike recently set off on what will be our biggest-ever trip from Greece back to the UK. Luckily we have two vans, each with air conditioning, electrical airflow and comfy compartments for all the pets travelling with us. A few pets travelled out with us from the UK. Gorgeous Gaia and Lulu, a pair of cats who are almost impossible to tell apart, are moving with Eric to Italy. We dropped them at a cattery in Verona for Eric to collect on his arrival. Reunions for Baxter, Rikki and Woody in England; and for Shelley, Bingo and Louis in Ireland

Animalcouriers has been busy reuniting some of our recent passengers from continental Europe with their owners in the UK. Baxter was lucky enough to be adopted by Sam and Maddie when they were working near Carcassonne this summer. We delivered him to Sam's mum Jane in Chester, where he'll wait for Sam and Maddie to join him. Sam and Maddie are over the moon knowing that Baxter has reached the UK safely. Beau and Bingo get on board in Spain; Jim, Baxter and Woody join us in France

Animalcouriers collected Beagle Beau from her owner Moe in Marbella. Beau and Moe have enjoyed a lovely summer holiday together, and now it's time for both to return to the UK. Our final collection in Spain was Bingo, a lively, friendly young German Shepherd Dog. This cooperative fellow dived into his compartment without a backward glance. Zigg, Rikki, Shelley and Louis join our trip; and we enjoy an authentic Portuguese dining experience with old friends

In Faro Animalcouriers met up with Nuno and his dog Zigg. Nuno's girlfriend has already moved to London, and now it's Zigg's turn to make the journey. Nuno will follow on soon. Both Nuno and his girlfriend are moving for work. We were pleased to have the chance to call in on Heather and Alan, old friends of ours who run Barking Mad Kennels near Lagos. Reunions in Spain and Portugal; Molly, Eva and Magali get on board; and we catch sight of Africa

Animalcouriers delivered Penny, Leonard, Oscar and Spike to their various destinations in Spain, then drove on to Portugal to collect the first of our UK-bound passengers, Molly. It seems only right to have another friendly English Bulldog on board, now that Spike is back with Fernando. Molly's been staying at the Merrylegs Pet Hotel in Loule, run by Logan and Laura.
