Animalcouriers recently travelled to Poland with a cat called Coco and a dog called Jordy. We also took dogs Luna to Hungary and Alfie to Norway, and collected cats Asea and Skadi in Sweden for their journey to Wales.
Coco, a cat travelling from England to Poland
We caught up with Christopher’s gorgeous cat Coco at Windmill Farm boarding kennels in Surrey, where she was waiting to start her journey to Trzciana in Poland.

Coco is a beautiful jet-black puss

Jordy, a dog travelling from England to Poland
Meet Jordy, also collected from Windmill Farm boarding kennels. This super fluffy Samoyed belongs to Selena and Mike, who asked us to organise his animal health certificate (AHC) and transport him to Poland. Following a comfy ferry crossing to France in the P&O Pet Lounge, we had a couple of nights on the road before reuniting Jordy with his family in Gdynia.

He’s a dog who knows how to strike a pose

A winsome look from Jordy

Here you can see the full extent of his magnificent coat

Nesting storks in Germany
On the way back from Poland we passed through a German village called Fürstenberg, where storks regularly nest, and this year is no exception. Storks’ nests can be over 2 metres wide and about 3 metres high, and are often used year after year.

At the top of this tall tower…

…we spied a very large stork’s nest

The village is clearly proud of its nesting storks

It’s a pretty place altogether…

…surrounded by lovely wooded areas for walking
Luna, a dog relocating from England to Hungary
Lovely Luna, a yellow Labrador, travelled with us from Stanwell to Veszprém in Hungary, where owner Beata was eagerly awaiting her arrival.

Alfie, a dog relocating from the UK to Norway
We collected Lurcher cross Alfie from owner Charlotte in Wiltshire. He travelled with us to Norway, where Charlotte’s Mum was waiting for us.

Asea and Skadi, 2 cats moving from Sweden to Wales
This splendid pair of Norwegian Forest cats joined us in Stockholm for their journey to Wales, where owner Hayley was delighted to receive them.

Asea and Skadi were super passengers

Both cats were very alert and confident on the journey

Swedish sweeties
No trip through Sweden would be complete without a stop at a sweet shop. The Swedes clearly know their candies and sweet treats, and we certainly don’t mind sampling them from time to time.

The Swedish approach to pick’n’mix — an almost overwhelming choice

Lots of lovely lollipops

This store had enough variety to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth

What gorgeous pets on their way to meet their families in new homes. In the loving hands of Animal Couriers – the best way to travel!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Oh, we’re so happy to see all the passengers, Annie. It’s heartwarming ♥ Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day and Safe Travels ahead to all of you 🙂 ♥
Lovelies.
Very beautiful animals, Coco the black cat with the yellow eyes, Jordy the white fluffy dog and all the other dogs and cats, including the ones from Sweden. The engineering firm where I got my fisrt long term job as an engineer was called Asea Brown Boveri. I wonder if Asea was named after them. Anyway, your photos are great and the stories very interesting.
So many pawsome furiends going here, there, and everywhere. Of course I have the softest spot for black kitties, so Coco could be my favourite. But there’s those puppies eyes from Jordy and I’d be such a push-over It’d be, “hop on up hear you puffy puppy” and we’d be sharing a pillow, haha! I don’t think I’ve ever met Norwegian Forest Cats. They look very petite! What unique names they have. I’d be all over those goody bins too. I LOVE those blue Swedish fish and the little red Swedish berries. My teeth would fall out if there was such a store here Hope you bough one of each 😀
Wow, thank you for sharing the journey, what a lovely range of places you visit, and all the people you meet. 😀
We are very lucky to meet so many wonderful people and pets and to visit their great countries!
