Continuing our feline theme after delivering Sophia, Chiara and Georgia to their new French home, Animalcouriers collected four cats who are travelling with us to the UK.
In Goujonac we met up with old friends of ours, Jacquie and Stephen, along with vet Dr Diana James. We first met Jacquie, who breeds Singapura cats, when we helped her move her cats to France. Since then, we’ve transported a number of her lovely kittens to UK homes. On this trip are gorgeous Jalankayu Joquet and Jalankayu Jetnayu, who were born on Boxing Day 2014. One is going to live in Wales and the other in the Midlands. Because it’s a change of ownership across EU borders, the kittens are travelling on TRACES certificates.
Our next stop was Monpazier in the Bergerac region, to collect Baboushka, a fine-featured nine-year-old Abyssinian. Her family went on ahead and Baboushka has been in the care of a sitter at the family’s French home. Following a brief period of home boarding with Animalcouriers, her new home in the UK will be in Hampshire.
Last but not least, Minnette from Nantes got on board the bus. This eight-year-old beauty is on her way to be reunited with her owner in Birmingham.

Oh wow… they look a little like me… I had no clue how beautiful a feline Weimaraner can be :o)
don’t furget to buy some bottles of Muscadet if you are near Nantes, it’s great with seafood and you can drink 87 bottles without getting plastered (ok just a little bit, but not too much LOL)
They sure squiggle around as much as you Easy! Ha ha ha – what kind of Muscadet have you been quaffing?
Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie, think it was one ofD omaine Ménard-Gaborit, but they all are great :o)
Thanks for the tip Easy, there are so many and a recommendation is great 🙂
The only thing we avoid is to buy expensive wine… we saw that they still use her paws to smash the grapes for special wines :o( If you are near Bordeaux once, buy a some bottles of the Pomerol area, it’s really great and the Château Pétrus is worth a visit :o)
Oh my are they all not gorgeous kitties 🙂 those little sweeties up top who I have no chance of pronouncing their gorgeous names are adorable…very slinky kitties indeed…safe travels all 🙂 loves Fozziemum xxx
It’ll be interesting to find out what they end up being called as their current names are a bit of a mouthful 🙂
Hahahah that they are 🙂 unless i suppose you have a better grasp of languages than moi 😉 xx

Wonder if they’ll cause as much mayhem? 😀
Those are the cutest kitties!
They are rather special and virtually impossible to tell apart 😉
They are adorable! 🙂
Each and every one of them!
Great cat shots. I get the feeling that Minnette is looking at her food bowl and suggesting that AC get on with filling it up.
Ha ha – she is rather obvious and very eloquent!
Aww, those kitties are so beautiful! 🙂 xx
We’ve got some great pussycats aboard!
Gorgeous cats! They do look a bit like feline Weimaraners! Yes, Minnette has that look our cats get – “The bowl is empty. Fill the bowl!”
Such eloquence in a look!
I like the last picture in particular.
Minnette can do that ‘look’ rather well.
Luvluvluv Minette. And the other cats are very pretty. What a nice relationship to have. You get to see where the cats are going to for their permanent homes
Yes, we’ve taken quite a number of Jackie’s beautiful kittens to new homes – it’s always interesting to see where they’re going.
never seen singapura cats, they are beautiful. Safe travels.
They are quite a rare breed – and very beautiful.
Kitties galore! Is vocal not the norm? I found a vet who makes house calls to save us all from the pitiful caterwauling in the car.
No, cats aren’t always noisy when they travel – they might have a little grumble to start 😉 Of course, there are passengers who give a running commentary throughout a journey! You are very lucky to have found a visiting vet – very few offer that service.
Maybe we just need to travel a little farther. 🙂
What a lovely group of cats!
Lovelies and a relatively calm trip 😉
Da bootifulness. Can them keeps secrets? XXXX
Oh, for sure they can – we haven’t been allowed into the lowdowns at all 😉
