Beautiful Shade is a Hungarian sheepdog from Czechia, who travelled with us to the UK. On the way to meet her, we delivered a dog and two cats in Germany, and two Bengal cats in Poland.
We also received a heartwarming update about two Ukrainian families settled in Scotland, who we helped move, along with their pets, in the summer of 2022.
Alma, Merry and Max from the UK to Germany
In Wrexham we collected two gorgeous cats, Merry and Max, and their canine chum Alma for their journey to Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany.

Lovely Alma, a Labrador/Springer cross, was beautifully behaved in our hotel room

Mina and Ada, two cats from England to Poland
Stunning Snow Bengal cats Mina and Ada travelled with us from Cambridgeshire to Lubelskie on the eastern edge of Poland.

What an adorable pair!
Owners Chris and Piotr wrote to say: “What a pleasure to deal with. Right from my initial enquiry Julia was an absolute angel and made the proces very simple, putting our minds at rest, Trevor, the courier who picked up our babies, was also an absolute poppet and very professional. We got updates and pictures everyday whilst in transit which was very welcome for two neurotic cat owners! Our girls arrived safe and sound for their new life chapter in East Poland and they seem pretty unfazed by the whole 2,000 mile adventure, Thank you, Animalcouriers, you dealt with our two babies amazingly.”
Shade, a Hungarian sheepdog from Czechia travels to the UK
In Czechia we met up with beautiful Shade. She’s a Mudi, a Hungarian sheepdog — a lively breed that loves to run and play.

Shade’s fabulous furry coat

When we handed Shade over to her owners for the final leg of the journey, she made it clear how she wanted to travel!
Two Ukrainian families settled in Scotland
When people were fleeing Ukraine in large numbers following the Russian invasion, Animalcouriers helped some of them with pet transport. Two of those families, who we met in the summer of 2022, have settled in Glasgow with the support of sponsor Clare. She recently sent us an update on how they’re getting on.
Snezhana, Danylo and Kira and their little dog Neo, a Russian Terrier, travelled with us from Calais to the UK. Since they relocated to Scotland, Snezhana’s parents have also made the move.
Olha, her Mum Dasha and their Springer Spaniel Jessi had an arduous train journey from Mariupol to Calais, where we collected them for their Channel crossing.
Clare wrote to say: “Olha and Dasha invited us round for a meal and we spoke fondly of your kindness and that of the team. Everyone wanted me to pass on their best wishes. Both dogs, Neo and Jessi, are doing well too.”

Gorgeous pets and happy humans……perfect combination!
Hugs, Pam
Alma and Shade are beautiful dogs and Max, Mina and Ada and I am sure Merry are beautiful cats. I am so impressed by what you did for the Ukrainian family. To save their dog from war and chaos. You have a wonderful business.
A lovely haul.
They’re all lovely but my biped is rather taken with those Snow Bengal cats.
Such lovely travellers, Annie 🙂 Thank you for your Birthday wishes for our Granny and Angel Binky. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend and safe travels ahead ♥
Always a pleasure, even a privilege to read of your travels with those we love.
Bless you also for your assistance to the Ukrainian families. I fear for their country and tried my best.
