As well as road travel through Europe, Animalcouriers organises flights for pets relocating further afield. Here you can read about the special care at Heathrow airport for nervous dog Thomas, who flew with his brother Winston to Saudi Arabia. We also have news about other dogs who flew from the UK to the Bahamas, Brazil and Venezuela.
Delilah relocates from Peterborough to the Bahamas
We collected Springer Spaniel Delilah from the Peterborough area and looked after her overnight. Early the next day, we drove her to Heathrow airport for her flight to Nassau.

Delightful Delilah
Bartira makes it from England to Brazil
This gorgeous girl was due to fly in the cargo hold on the same plane as her owner, Lulu, from Heathrow to Sao Paolo. But when Lulu disembarked, she was alarmed to learn that Bartira wasn’t on board.
It turned out that, for operational reasons, BA had rescheduled Bartira to a later flight. We dashed off to check on her at the Animal Aircare Centre (AAC) at Heathrow, where she was of course absolutely fine and enjoying the kindness and attention of the AAC staff.
Just 24 hours later, Bartira was in the air on her way to her new home in Brazil.

Nala swaps Ireland for Venezuela
We collected lovely Staffie Nala in Dublin for her journey to Heathrow, where she boarded her flight to Venezuela and a reunion with owner David.

Special care for Thomas at Heathrow airport
Handsome brothers Thomas and Winston have relocated from England to Saudi Arabia, where owners Annie and Sam have new air industry jobs.
The night before their flight to Riyadh, the boys shared a kennel at Heathrow’s Animal Aircare Centre (AAC). Because Thomas is quite highly strung, the AAC staff were kind and caring enough to make a special effort to help him settle, and to keep us updated on how he was doing.

The boys all settled in for the night at their new home in Riyadh…
…but someone just couldn’t resist waking them up!

That was a nice haul of lovely dogs. We have a Delilah who comes to the office.
Love the name Delilah. Bet she’s great company there.
They’re all adorable pups but Delilah is absolutely gorgeous. I just love hearing about all the special care passengers with Animal Couriers gives each and every one!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Isn’t she lovely! It is good to be able to arrange things for passengers who need special care. ☺️
You took care of a lot of dogs and feel especially for poor nervous Thomas, my namesake, it is great to know you were taking care of him. All the dogs are adorable and great photos.
I think the longest tongue contest has been won! They’re all adorable.
Ha! Yes! Bartira is a paws down winner
Delightful, delightful, delightful!
Poor Thomas – I totally get “high strung” – I can’t think of a dog we’ve had during the last 20 years that hasn’t been high strung, but a little guy named Red would have given Thomas a run for his money at the airport!
Bless all of you for taking such good care of everyone!!!
Sounds like you’ve had your fair share! Luckily we don’t meet too many and are warned in advance if we’re going to have a needy passenger.
We’re so glad you were there to check on Bartira, so the owner knew that she was safe ♥ Great travellers again, Annie and team 🙂 Double Pawkisses for safe travels ahead 🙂
We do get called on to find out what’s going on with delayed flights – good to be able to confirm all is good.
