At much the same time as couriers J and M reached Greece, courier S found herself in rather exalted company in Berlin.
Blair and Putin have been living in this fine capital city for a couple of months while their passports and travel arrangements were finalised. With promises of a large garden and fresh west country air to look forward to at their new UK home, these two cats are anticipating good times ahead.
They’re proving the perfect travel companions, sharing a hotel room with courier S last night and everyone enjoying snacks in bed. This morning they’ll cross to the UK by Eurotunnel, and spend the night in Surrey before being reunited with their owners tomorrow.
Easter Egg trees? Love it!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
They do brighten things up a lot!
Love the trees (and the cleverly named kitties)!
Aren’t they fun – both the trees and the names!
Pretty kitties. They look feisty.
No walkovers Blair and Putin!
gorgeous, gorgeous cats! wow.
They are lookers!
Definitely Easter time. Decorating trees with eggs are new to me. Looks pretty.
It’s a fashion we’re seeing more and more of in the north.
the feline world can manage things what would nearly happen for humans :o) imagine Mr. Blair and Mr. Putin together on a road tip :o)
It would be chaos! The cats are also a lot better looking than the humans with those names!!
that’s for sure Clowie :o) maybe the humans could learn something from their feline namesake :o)
Politicians learning anything from their constituents? Dream on!
Blair and Putin in the same transport… I guess there was a list of minimum security measures…??
Courier S was very brave and bribed them with bedtime treats to settle down and forget their differences 😉
Best names ever! i must say, they are far more photogenic than their human counterparts. 🙂
Looks, nature and reliability 😀
What great names for the cats…tee hee….and we just LOVE the Easter egg trees! WOW!
Hugs, Sammy
For kids going scrumping there is very little (i.e. no) chocolate involved 🙁
Blair and Putin – great names for cats. And traveling together no less!
Not exactly in perfect harmony but perhaps it might seem so to their namesakes!
Bet Blair & Putin would love to play in those trees
Who’d catch the biggest prize though?
Hope they had separate compartments! 😉
Very much so but they were prepared to burry the animosity when it came to sharing a bed with Courier S 😀
I couldn’t let this post go by without leaving a comment 🙂 My thought was – what a great way to redeem those two names. I hope they are the best of friends and never harm another creature!
Easter egg trees! Delightful <3
The names are redeemed for us! Although not the bestest of friends they sure do seem so by comparison 😉
We just returned from Germany, and the Easter eggs were literally everywhere. These are two lucky cats.
Ah, they do seem to be everywhere these days/
I like the egg trees.
Can’t help feeling that if the eggs were chocolate they would be even better…
Gorgeous kitties and glad they gave Courier S company for the night 🙂 and love the easter trees! how cool is that…would take me a lifetime to do all mine hahahaah 🙂 safe travels all loves Bev xx
Now now Bev, a little photoshopping could go a long way 😀
pretty kittys and egg tree.
Aren’t the trees fun!
Love the eggs in the tree. So festive and colorful. Maybe I missed it, but Is there a reason (folk lore, etc) why the eggs are in the outside trees everywhere? Are they inside also? Don’t think I’ve ever seen eggs in trees in the US except maybe on a decorative table top or center piece type thing…
It seems to be a northern European thing. Don’t know when it started but it’s certainly catching on, big time. Decorated trees indoors are a big thing throughout Europe.
So, you don’t think they’ll catch on in the Mid West?
It only takes a bit of time before traditions start here. It won’t be long for egg trees!
