After reuniting cats Fleur and Mittens with their owners, Mike and Debbie, in Normandy, we drove into Switzerland to deliver Bibi and Odin to Alan and his family. It was hard to say who was more excited at the reunion — humans or dogs!
Then it was back into France to drop handsome trio Ruben, Hugo and Red at Le Jardin des Chats, a super cattery in the Montpellier area, where they’ll have a short stay until their owner Susan catches up with them. And we left Gentleman Jim with mutual friends, for collection by his owner Faith.
The next day, with Mr Pickles, Douglas, Twiglet and Murphy still on board, we motored on to Italy, staying the night in Florence before heading to the port to catch the overnight ferry to Greece.
Easter Eggs Trees! Oh my! In France they like to decorate roundabouts at Christmas, not that they know how roundabout’s work. It’s the only country where I’ve seen signs approaching roundabout’s saying you do not have priority! Or at least in the South of France they did! Happy all passengers arrived safely!
Don’t get us started on French roundabouts 😀 We’re not sure why they bother installing indicators in cars either 😉
What indicators?! Zebra crossings are just fancy road decorations and that whole thing of minor road has priority onto a major road I never understood! Yet, I never saw many road accidents when I lived there. You have to give them some credit however, they respect motorbikes.
are the swiss eggs made of chocolate? or cheese? Mr. Pickles and Douglas remind me a little of Bonnie&Clyde… bet they have a plan :o)
Couriers J&M didn’t dare mess up the tableau to find out 😉
Meant to say that your description is spot on about Mr Pickles and Douglas – if they could mug you for food they would 😀
Wonderful photos – so expressive.
Great subjects!
oh that Bibi. It’s hard to say exactly what makes her so loveable . . .
She is a gorgeous girl!
Mr. Pickles and Douglas are noisy? Nothing like a choir of cats on a long trip! I remember our move west with Mr. Beaucastel and Mr. Austin… 🙂
Ah, we do have trips like that but these two are nosey – nothing gets by them, especially if food is being prepared 😀
Aw they are all gorgeous!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Yup, and the Easter bunnies!
That is why I always wanted to go and live in Switzerland. 😆
Great to see Bibi and Odin so excited and that everyone is happy again. I won’t survive being away from Simba like that for sure. 😀
Beautiful cats. Sounds like they have a lot to say. LOL!
There’s always a beautiful seasonal display. The cats do have a lot to say – mostly about the when is their next meal due 😀
Oh yes, that I know. They can be very verbal when it’s eating time. 😆
Love nosy cats – they make everything an adventure! I love Easter egg trees! And the Easter Bunny <3
Bet you do Easter wonderfully!
I had a dream the other night (rare that I remember them, so maybe it’s more a premonition?) that my ship had come in and we decided to move to Europe. The first thought that came to mind was “I MUST contact the Animals about getting Ms. Sadie over there!” Hahaha…for future reference…DO you ever come here?
Do hope it’s a premonition 😀 We can help put you in touch with a US shipper but don’t arrange anything coming from the States ourselves.
Aw, I figured that was the way of it. Wouldn’t that have been sweet though?
Nosey cats! That’s what I get for reading without glasses on…. 🙂
Went back and looked and it’s a very easy mistake to make!
Ah… you had your purrivate Aria 😀 The doggies are nice doggies 🙂 Pawkisses 🙂 <3
Yup, music to the ears 😀
Comparing the size of the bunnies and the eggs in the second picture, it would take something of a miracle for the bunnies to deliver the eggs, that or a fork lift. 🙂 –Curt
Ha! These are Swiss bunnies 😀
I hope that your trip to Greece goes smoothly. It is very windy up here.
It’s windy everywhere at the moment – luckily couriers J&M are good sailors.
The Easter egg tree is quite something. It’s good to see Bibi and Odin so happy to see their bipeds.
