Mini Bull Terrier Peabody (aka Boy) travelled with Animalcouriers from Greece to the UK to take part in Crufts. When he met John for the first time, Peabody stood his ground. But once John spoke to him in Greek, there was a complete transformation. Wagging his tail, Peabody leapt with excitement and threw himself at John!
Meanwhile Daisy, who came from the Filozoikos Shelter in Athens, arrived at her new home with Sarah, an old friend of the shelter. This lovely dog grew in confidence during the course of the trip and has quickly settled in to her UK home. Sarah sent some lovely photos and wrote to say:
“Thank you for bringing Daisy safely over. She will be just fine and is already wagging her tail!”
We also reunited Dalmatian Snoopy and his cat companions Billie and Charlie with their owners. These three amigos travelled with us from Toulouse in France and received a rapturous welcome at their Bristol home. The cats will remember it well, as they lived here before the family moved to France, but it’s all new for Snoopy. He’s such a self-assured chap, we’re sure he’ll soon put his Gallic charm to work and win over many hearts.

Aren’t they all gorgeous ..I laughed at Peabody..you see Jock our sheep I bought from an Italian couple who had to go into a home,.he was destined for the pot as a wee lamb..so 50 dollars later he was a pet 😉 but I swear he only knew Italian hahahaa and it took awhile for me to get him to understand me…yes a sheep I know…:) loves Bev xx
Oh, we can totally understand that! Sometimes when we transport animals from other countries we have to learn a few basic commands in their native tongue 😀
Hhahaha well my Italian was limited to ciao bella or something along those lines…poor thing…hahhaha but hey I saved him from a fate/plate that was not good…she told me..’he tender’..and I said NO pet..she thought I had lost my mind..got him home quick smart haahhah 🙂 xx
Oh boy, imagine I could meet Boy at Crufts… but I can’t because of the mean judge… and my momma would be a weird eyecatcher in the ring with her wrecked hellbow :o( Good luck Boy, rock that show!… do you know if Daisy has a boyfriend?
Your Mom would have a bit of trouble in the ring with you at Crufts at the moment Easy! We think it’s early days for Daisy and a boyfriend so you should introduce yourself now 😀
Big smile to start my day. Oh the people smiles! Daisy is quite fancy with her bow and she looks so happy at play.
Daisy has settled so well after her bad start and long journey! Wonderful to see.

It’s great to see them all home and happy!
Great action shot of Daisy throwing the toy in the air! Excellent to see that all of the animals always look so happy, relaxed and well cared for, no matter the conditions, journey length etc.
Animals are so resilient – when they settle into their travelling routine they cope remarkably well.
I just found your site, love all of the animals, I can see why you have such a great audience!
