on the road with Animalcouriers

On one of our last trips of 2024, we transported a Porcelaine puppy called Henry from England to Ireland. Among our other late-December passengers were English and French Bulldogs Reggie and Calvin, returning clients Ziggy and Balofo, and Cocker Spaniel Oscar.

Henry, a puppy from England to Ireland

We collected adorable Henry, a young Porcelaine, in Surrey for his journey to new owner Gill in Country Longford, Ireland.

The Porcelaine is a French hunting dog that gets its name from its shiny, almost transparent-looking coat. They’re elegant dogs who are typically intelligent, gentle and friendly.

Henry was very relaxed on the journey

He enjoyed a good leg stretch each time we stopped

Gillian was thrilled to welcome Henry to Ireland

Gillian wrote to say: “Many thanks for bringing him to me. He had a wild few hours racing around the house but is eating and drinking well. He’s now settled on his giant teddy watching The Simpsons.”

Reggie, a dog from London to Spain

We met up with handsome English Bulldog Reggie early one morning in London for his journey to Marbella in Spain. We took him to Travel Vet to get his animal health certificate (AHC) before boarding the Eurotunnel to Calais for his onward journey to Spain.

Owners Alexandra and Zachary were on hand to give Reggie a proper send-off

Calvin, a dog from Poland to Portugal

Rita asked us to transport her beloved French Bulldog, Calvin, from Warsaw in Poland to Lisbon in Portugal.

What a cheeky face!

Ziggy and Balofo, 2 dogs from London to Portugal

We transported these two little darlings from Lisbon to London earlier in December. After a festive break in London, owner Thyana asked us to make the return journey with them to Portugal. Both dogs were well kitted out for the cold weather in their snazzy coats.

Ziggy is a mini Pinscher

Balofo is a mini Schnauzer

Oscar, a dog from England to Italy

Stunning Cocker Spaniel Oscar belongs to Antonio, Valentina and family. He made the journey with us from West Lancashire to the Puglia region of Italy. Travel Vet issued his animal health certificate (AHC) ready for us to board the Eurotunnel.

Saying goodbye to Oscar in England

He really is a charming and well behaved fellow!
