As we come close to the end of 2024, we’d like to take the opportunity to wish our friends, followers, clients and partners all the best for the festive season and the new year. Stay warm, take good care of yourselves, and give your pets extra Christmas hugs!

Billy, a dog from Jersey to Spain

We collected gorgeous Cocker Spaniel Billy from Lara in Jersey. Billy belongs to Lara’s Mum, Nathalie, who was waiting for Billy to join her in Dénia, in the province of Alicante.

Rocky and Thunder, 2 dogs from Corfu to England

We met up with these two rescue dogs in Corfu for their journeys to their new families in England.

HRA, a dog from Greece to England

HRA, a stunning White Shepherd, was living with his owner on Meganisi, an island near Lefkada. When, very sadly, HRA’s owner passed away, the family got to work to repatriate HRA to England.

Animalcouriers were due to collect him in October, but we were thwarted by a ferry strike throughout Greece. Fortunately, a second attempt to collect earlier this month him was successful, and we were able to reunite HRA with his loving family.

4 dogs travelling between the UK and the Nordics

We headed to Estonia with Katlin’s charming dogs Frankie and Bruce, delivered Lulu to her owner in Denmark, and collected Skye in Sweden for her journey to Scotland.

Cheeky Puggle Lulu made the journey from Essex to Copenhagen in Denmark, where she received a very warm welcome

Near the Swedish city of Gothenburg we collected delightful Pug Skye, seen here looking very winsome in our hotel room

Skye’s destination was Dunoon, Scotland, where she was greeted with hugs and kisses

Marvin and Floyd, 2 cats from Italy to England

When Alastair relocated from Florence to Lancashire, he asked Animalcouriers to transport his beloved ginger tabby cats, Marvin and Floyd.

Given all the packing boxes, the cats knew something was up!

It was chilly on the way north through France, so we brought the cats into our hotel room

As we passed through Paris, Lesley’s lovely dog Sabine (and cat Blanqui) hopped on board for their journey to London
