Courier Trevor collected Minti the Macaw travelling from Malta to England. Altogether, his trip took in three Mediterranean islands off the coast of Italy, with cats and a puppy heading to Sicily and Sardinia, and a dog to collect in Sicily for her journey to her new home in England.
Oreo and Chewie, 2 cats from England to Sicily
Friendly black-and-white cat Oreo and his laid-back ginger companion Chewie travelled with us from Manchester to their new home in Ragusa, Sicily, where Gustavo was waiting for them.

Big Jack, a puppy from Wales to Sicily
Gorgeous Big Jack is a blue French Bulldog puppy belonging to Domenico. This young pup made the move with us from Cardiff to Sicily.

What a cute face!
Lissa, Slim, Toothless and Luna, 4 cats from London to Sardinia
Emanuela asked us to transport her four beloved cats from London to her home on Sardinia.

All four cats travelled really well to their destination

They made themselves at home straight away

Menfi, a dog from Sicily to England
Street dog Menfi was smart enough to endear herself to Eleanor who was on holiday in Sardinia. Eleanor adopted her and asked us to transport her to England. We collected Menfi in Palermo and brought her to her new home with Eleanor in Newcastle upon Tyne.

You can see why Eleanor fell for Menfi — she’s so engaging!

Minti, a Macaw from Malta to England
Beautiful Minti is a 34-year-old Green Wing Macaw. His previous owner kept him chained to a perch, which left him with a deformed foot and atrophied wings. When Jack adopted him, he immediately removed the chain and gave Minti freedom to roam. Jack’s aim is to help Minti regain his wing strength in the hope he can fly again. When Jack decided to relocate from Malta to Surrey, he asked us to take care of Minti’s journey.

What a gorgeous bunch of travellers! Your trips can never be dull.
And this one was certainly colourful!
OMG, I loved every one of your passengers in this post! I have new cat appreciation after Carport Kitty and her legacy of other strays who now live in her old home.
Plus you already know how much I love a wonderful dog!
But a 34-year-old bird is a new one for me. Thank you for the story and for the news of his good fortunes.
May the universe reward every person who shares their home with these creatures, and may your couriers always have safe travels. Bravo. Cheers.
Thanks Sheila. Minti is going to live a very different life now.
So happy for Minti – he was so lucky to be rescued by Jack from a life chained to a perch. The rest of the travelers look equally “at home” during their journeys back to their owners!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
