Meet some of the dogs, cats, puppies and a rabbit who’ve travelled to and from Spain, Italy and France with Animalcouriers over the past few months.

Alfie, a puppy from Spain to the UK

Darling Alfie stole many hearts as he travelled from Barcelona to London with courier Sarah to join his owner. This teacup-sized Yorkshire Terrier was as brave as he was friendly; and gave us lots of licks in return for cuddles. He rushed around on walks, taking in every new thing and saying hello to everyone he met.

Midi, a rabbit from Barcelona to London

Toy Lionhead Rabbit Midi, a returning Animalcouriers client, proved to be an adorable travelling companion. This much loved black bunny travelled with us from the centre of Barcelona to London to be reunited with his besotted owner.

Midi enjoyed a wonderful diet of sweet-smelling hay, lettuce, carrot, fresh parsley and a variety of salad items, as well as pellets. Frequent cuddles were also on the menu!

Megan, a dog from London to Spain

We collected splendid Irish Setter Megan in London for her journey to Santander. First stop was at the vet to get Megan’s animal health certificate (AHC), allowing her to leave the UK and enter mainland Europe. Megan was a very relaxed and well behaved traveller who enjoyed plenty of walks. Courier Huw described her as a ‘great travel buddy’.

4 Pointer puppies from Italy

In Italy courier Ricardo collected four delightful Pointer puppies from Luigi and Gigi. We have got to know these award-winning breeders quite well over the years.

Beautiful Sissi travelled with us from London to Dijon, where Moutuyou was awaiting her arrival.

Courier Sarah collected beautiful, Sephize from Aix en Provence for her journey to London, where all the family were waiting. A Chartreuse aged just five months, she proved to be a gentle and dignified passenger.
