Natasha and her family are spending the summer in Paris with members of their family who live there. They asked us to transport their Hermann’s Tortoise, Dave, so that he could join in the holiday fun. He’s a tiny tortoise, about 6 cm wide and 15 cm long. His tank and the bags that came with him more than made up for his diminutive size!
Beautiful Cocker Spaniel Bella came to stay before travelling with us to Amsterdam to rejoin her owners. It was a great opportunity to be reminded about what lovely personalities Cockers have! She’s a very inquisitive little girl who loves having a chat. James wrote to say:
“Thank you and the rest of the team at Animalcouriers. Bella has safely arrived in Amsterdam. The courier was very nice. Really appreciate all your help.”
We collected a gorgeous pair of kittens for Lynn. Lynn rescues Pekingese dogs, and has 19 at the moment. The two kittens aren’t rescues, however, they’re a treat for herself. We look forward to hearing what names she chooses for these two little bundles of fluff.
Oh can you bring Dave to me please? He can spend the summer with Hell-mut :o) and Bella could stay with me for the summer. My mom awwed and ohed for the cats, so you can bring that cuties to her… then all work is done and your courier can spend the rest of the day in a
hammock with a cool drink :o)
Hell-mut would have such fun with Dave! Sounds like a great idea but guess there might be a few families a little put out 😉
You do get your share of assortments, don’t you? Could courier J slip me those two kittens please…
We love it when something a little more exotic joins the bus. Your request came in a little too late 😉
Shucks!
Dave is adorable the way is lying a all stretched out. He has a beautiful shell. Bella is, well bella! The kitties are just too cute. You provide such a wonderful service.
Dave’s markings are rather lovely – he does look like he might be doing the imaginary breast stroke 😉
All these are so cute! 🙂
They are a lovely lot!
One or two of each – makes the trip interesting.
Variety being the spice of life…
Travelling with pets and making their owners happy. It doesn’t get any better!
The job does have many upsides!
Lynn’s kittens look like they will really fit in with a family of Pekingese dogs!
Yes – have a suspicion that they might end up ruling the roost!
Love the tortoise…made me curious about whether you’d ever transported any fish. Since Baron the Dachshund has never been apart from me overnight since coming to live with over 8 years ago, I always wonder how he’d do with the Animal Couriers. Happy Thursday to all of you 🙂
We have indeed transported fish but the most varied load we’ve ever had was this group of reptiles: https://animalcouriers.wordpress.com/2014/11/05/relocating-reptiles-and-a-russian-blue-to-malta/
You’d be surprised how well dogs take to the journey!
I’m picturing snakes on leads, being taken for a walk 🙂 I might have to do doodle of that 🙂
Please do point us in its direction when you do 😀
Very cool! I love the tortoise!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Dave is a cool dude!
I have fallen in love with Dave!
For such a slow mover he is very loveable!
I don’t think that I could stand the pace of looking after Dave.
Dave was one of the least demanding passengers at meal times.
Quite an assortment of passengers! I love turtles too!
We do like diversity!
Bella has a gorgeous face – I bet she can get treats out of anyone! The kitties are sweet as well. It looks as though Dave will be very comfortable.
Doesn’t she – a lovely temperament too.
How did I miss this post?!! LOVE Hermann’s tortoises!
Aren’t they gorgeous!
