Animalcouriers took the ferry from Greece to Italy and spent the night in Bologna. The next morning we headed to the Milan area to collect Leo. This handsome cat belongs to Delia, who moved to England a short while ago and has now been able to send for Leo to join her. We met Delia’s mother Sebastiana and her brother Joseph (who’s looking forward to practising his English in England), along with Massimo who carried Leo out from their apartment to our van.
From Italy we headed to Switzerland and spent the night at one of our favourite places, the Eden Hotel in Sisikon, where we enjoyed taking a bit of time out to explore while walking the dogs.
Today we drove to the German city of Stuttgart to collect Corgi cross Alfredo. Carolyn adopted him off the streets in Spain many moons ago, and they subsequently moved to Germany. Now Carolyn has relocated to the UK, and Alfredo is on his way to join her.
We’re now getting close to the end of our journey, and expect to be back in the UK tomorrow.
The hotel is an eyecatcher! Such a “shopping cart” would be the perfect cure for my shop-a-howlic momma lol
Ha ha ha – but she’d just get the postman to deliver 😀
I could only hope to be as effortlessly stylish as an Italian snail. I think I’m more on par with something more ungainly. Like a komodo dragon!
Ha ha – but a komodo dragon has a style and flair all to itself!
Quite a trip with lots of great photos.
A wonderful spot to photograph.
Beautiful photos, safe travels
Thanks.
I like the gnomes, so cute! But Atlas sure has it going on, he looks like a bunch of fun!
Courier J loves them too judging by the number of photos she sent through 😉
Happy!!!! Lots of happy in the photos and a lot of beautiful scenes of the lake and the hotel……the gnomes certainly have their work cut out for them in the gardens!
Hugs, Pam and Sam
The gnomes are obviously very busy and do a fine job 🙂
You really do have one the of the best jobs, despite all the driving!
There are obvious upsides to the job 😉
What gorgeous travellers indeed and Eden is the right name for that hotel..what a stunning place..and love the shopping cart 🙂 safe travels all loves Bev xx
Plenty of good memories from stays there – happy animals and happy couriers!

Thanks guys!
That Leo is a handsome fella.
He’s very handsome and a chilled out boy.
Chewing on those stones has to be tough. 🙂 And I don’t think you would want to catch one out of the air. Great snail photo. And you are right about Leo’s eyes! –Curt
It’s not the best of habits for a dog but it sure keeps them happy 😉
Do any of those little fellas do the hoovering?
If only!
Does Leo have a girlfurriend.. 😀 Pawkisses for a safe trip home 🙂 <3
Thanks Little B – there’s no harm in asking 😉
All going to complete a beautiful catalog of animal photographs – oh, and not forgetting the gnomes. Let’s hear it for the gnomes!
Playful dogs and relaxed cats – they’re all gorgeous!
