Dave and Christine’s family of four, dogs Bob and Ben, and cats Missy and Mabel, recently travelled with us from Nerja in Spain to Lincolnshire in the UK. Christine wrote to let us know all four arrived in good spirits:
“Our gang are settling in at the new home. They all look in good health and I just wish they could tell me of their adventures en route to get here.
Bob and Ben can’t believe they have a nice big garden of their own and have been going in and out all afternoon. They have also been for a walk across a nearby field. Now worn out and sound asleep either side of me on the sofa.
Missy and Mabel wanted lots of fuss and reassurance. After exploring the house and finding their litter tray and food and water bowls, they settled down for a snooze.
I can’t thank you enough for looking after our precious pets on their long journey.”
And Pica and Trebol, who travelled with us from Madrid, were happily reunited with their owner Gonzalo.

Always a relief for everyone when they’re back together again.
Enough can’t be said for the joy we humans and our animal companions feel upon be reunited. Your posts are bright spots in my day!
Always happy when a post has that effect!
they are all just lovely but Pica is especially cute. She reminds me of my BFGF Cathy Keisha from Stunning Keisha blog
Pica is very cute and into everything!
Beautiful animals!
Aren’t they!
Trebol looks like my cat! Love it.
Such a handsome fellow.
I have to wonder what goes through a pet’s mind when it is suddenly faced with a totally new environment— excitement, wonder, fear, or all of the above? Or something else totally? –Curt
Possibly all of the above 😉 What we find is that when owners move ahead of their pets, they have time to organise the new home with the furniture and pets beds and toys in place. When we turn up everything’s ready – the environment might be new but has many old favourite things waiting. Doesn’t take them long to settle.
Just like us, sort of.
Aww. This is a great story! It is so nice to see them all so happy with their new home. You can tell they clearly like it there and are adjusting well.
Reunions are great to see and the pets have settled very quickly.
It’s always lovely to everyone happy at the end of their journey.
Yup Clowie, it’s great to see them settled.
What a fabulous ending to your journeys – how happy they always are to be with their families – and what an unbelievable service you provide. I continue to be amazed. 🙂
We do love it when we hear how passengers have settled in!
