A couple of weeks ago courier Trevor collected dogs Posong and Eddie flying from South Korea. These two young hounds were rescued from the streets and have been adopted by new families in the UK. The dogs flew from Seoul to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, where courier Trevor collected them for their onward journey by road and tunnel to the UK.
Posong and Eddie on arrival at Charles de Gaulle airport with the volunteer who accompanied them on their flight
Friendly Samoyed Posong was pleased to stretch his legs at the first opportunity
Little Eddie, a Dachshund mix, wasn’t so confident at first, preferring to stay in his travel crate inside his bedroom
Checking in at Le Shuttle pet reception
Posong is such a fluffy fellow!
Both dogs’ new owners came to collect them near our Surrey base. Eddie was still feeling somewhat shy…
…but his new owner, Harriet, patiently coaxed him out…
…and scooped him up for a reassuring hug
Posong also got a big welcome hug from his new owners
Asha sent some lovely photos of Posong at his new home…what a handsome chap
He really looks to be smiling
All tuckered out after a good walk
Harriet also sent photos: here’s a much more relaxed Eddie, hanging with his housemate, also a rescue
A playful moment

What a long way from China to their new homes in the UK. That’s totally awesome. It must be really expensive, I’m glad they’re able to find homes.
It’s a well-oiled informal rescue group who does all the hard work on these rescues. Yes, not cheap but very successful all round.
Oh my…….what a very long trip for these two but they both look to be quite happy to be off the streets of China and in new, warm, happy and loving homes. Fabulous!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Worth every mile of the journey for these street dogs. They’re settling in well to the Life of Reilly!
Posong is beautiful. Eddie is really cute.
Posong certainly is beautiful and loves to post. Just love Eddie’s curly tail!
It’s nice to see them settling in. I hope they’ll both be very happy.
So far, so very good for these lucky two.
