We helped Amber shipping three large dogs from the US to Belgium. Amber and her gorgeous hounds, Yeti, Pepper and Rocco, flew from Washington to Frankfurt. Animalcouriers collected the whole family at Frankfurt airport and drove them the final leg of their journey to their new home in Belgium.
Amber, who relocated for work, planned her pets’ travel with the greatest of care. She assured us she wasn’t going anywhere without her beloved dogs!
Once they were all ensconced in their new home, Amber was kind enough to say:

As you may imagine, the dogs needed enormous travel boxes on the flight
Even though he’s not the biggest of the three dogs, Rocco had the biggest box. That’s because Boxers are a brachycephalic breed — their shortened heads and snub noses can interfere with their breathing if airflow is restricted. Amber went all out with Rocco’s box to avoid putting him at risk. We had to dismantle the compartments in the back of our van to fit it in!
Amber’s care paid off — Rocco travelled comfortably and hopped straight out of his box, ready to get settled in our van
Wow…!! Look at those giant travel boxes! You almost had to buy a bigger van too… 😉

Beautiful photos. The long flight was probably not easy for them and I know large dogs fly as cargo. But I know that doesn’t mean the luggage compartment. They are well taken care of and checked on by people during the flight. However, the last leg was probably the easiest on them. You are doing wonderful work.
They are well taken care of on, during and after the flights. We think they were probably more relaxed when in came to the journey with us 😉
Gorgeous dogs and they certainly traveled in style! The attention they got from you all was reassuring for them and no doubt their reunion with Amber was a super happy one since they’d had a great experience with Animal Couriers!
