Renata does a fantastic job of rescuing dogs from the streets of South Korea.
She originally rescued a dog for herself, but the terrible lives led by these stray dogs drove her to persuade her friends to join her in getting as many of them off the streets as she can.
Renata is very careful in the rehoming of these dogs. She selects dogs individually for people who apply to help, then completes the entire process herself — from home visits to assisting with introductions and support during the first days.
Fortunately, there are kind people in South Korea who offer to accompany the dogs on their flights from South Korea to Europe.
Courier Paul met one such family at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. He took over the three dogs they had accompanied and drove them to the UK, where Renata and their new families were waiting to receive them.
Courier Gwen met a more recent flight into Paris CDG with four dogs on board — Hazel, Olive, Elsa and Yuki, and drove them to Renata in Nottingham.

That is so cool. Good for Renata.
She’s a cool woman!
What a good thing to do.
It’s becoming a habit for Renata.
It is heartwarming to know that there are truly good people out there.
Isn’t it lovely!
Renata + Animal Couriers = Simply the Best
I am in awe of this amazing woman and the services Animal Couriers can provide!
It’s a combination that works well for all the wonderful dogs Renata brings over!
My heart is full learning about these rescues…..the stray dog problem is huge there from what I understand and Renata is an Angel – so are Animal Couriers for assisting in giving these dogs a “real” life off the streets and a chance to know a loving home.
Hugs, Pam
If they’re not left on the street, they’re stolen for meat. So the more dogs that can escape, the better!

It’s lovely to see some rescued.
We know it’s the tip of the iceberg but every little helps.
Wee still send POTP an lotss of <3 LOVE <3 to Mozzi Miss Annie!! Such a cute little fellow!
I am so glad to read of Renata and all the rescues going on. I did not know they did the eating of dogs and cats in So. Korea. I was ignorant and thought just China. I hope there is someone who cares for the cats and rescues them as well…surely there is. But with that culture of seeing them as food…I am afraid that times won’t change.
Delighted you can now comment! The big festival in Yulin, China, is the really scary part of the dog and cat meat market and is just getting ready to kick off. Cats don’t feature highly in the rescue scene but there will surely be networks helping them. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open.
Well done, Renata and Animalcouriers!
Doesn’t she do the most wonderful work!
Way to go Renata!
She is a marvel!
Bellissimi. Bravi !
Grazie!
