Beautiful little Hia (short for Hyena) had a long journey from Korea to the UK. She left Korea at 08.00am and arrived in Paris 11 hours later. On the flight she sat next to her human mum, and was as good as gold. Animalcouriers collected Hia in Paris and drove her to Calais, where we boarded the Eurotunnel, courier S ensuring plenty of pampering along the way for this little girl. On arrival in the UK it was a short hop to Hia’s new home in Surrey to be reunited with her family. It’s all very exciting as a new baby is due in just a few months.
A few days later courier S was back on the road with Border Collie brother and sister Dexter and Lucy. These very frequent travellers are heading from their home in London to their summer home in Avignon. A perfect pair of angels, these two dogs are completely at ease with the routine of travelling. They know when to lie back and enjoy the ride, when to smile at customs, and when to rush around and make the most of our comfort breaks.
Hia is a sweetie and has such a sweet face. Lucy has such a beautiful face as does Dexter.
The lavender and sunflower is so beautiful.
Have a good week.
They are gorgeous girls and boys. Such a beautiful part of the world.
have a good trip :o) is it hot too in the south of france? I bet it is… even we have a heatwave here :o(
Jolly hot down here but it seems to be hot everywhere in Europe. Glad it’s reached you now Easy!
I suppose animals find the whole process worrying as they don’t understand what it’s all about. The end when they’re reunited with their people must be such a relief to them.
Strangely, the first day is probably the hardest when they’re not used to the routines. Once they settle in, they’re perfectly happy to go along with the flow. Of course, once they are reunited, that’s a whole other story.
Beautiful flowers, I would not mind a sniff myself.
Yup, not many would turn down the chance!
More happy reunions…….AND beautiful photos too!
Hugs, Sammy
Hard to take a bad photo of sunflowers and lavender and we even managed good ones of the passengers 😀
All the photos are beautiful – they ALWAYS are…..ALWAYS!
Thanks Sammy!
Such beautiful dogs. The countryside is lovely.
We know your partiality for Collies. They’re jolly lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
Happy dogs! Love the lavender photos. We were too early for the purple when we were in Provence in 2013. Sunflowers always make great photos.
Shame to miss the lavender fields in Provence but it’s great year round. None of the couriers can resist the temptation of a sunflower photo or two.
There is something wrong with people who have cameras, beautiful sunflowers in front of them and don’t photograph the sunflowers. They probably don’t like animals, either!
Very sweet looking group this trip. Wow! Lavender everywhere! Makes me think of a nice afternoon nap.
So, the association is? Lavender scented bedroom? Memories of lazy holidays?
I could smell the flowers from up here.
And hear the bees buzzing.
