Having delivered cats and dogs to their families in France and Portugal, Animalcouriers are now heading back towards the UK, collecting new passengers as we go.
On the Portuguese Algarve we met up with little Westie Poppy, who’s relocating to Staffordshire. Her owners, Josef and Laura, had to leave the day before, so we suggested Poppy stay at Barking Mad Kennels and Cattery run by old friends of ours, Heather and Alan.
From there we headed to Lisbon to collect another little dog, a four-month-old mini-Pinscher called Blue who belongs to Danii. Danii and Blue are moving to London to live with Danii’s grandmother.
In Oporto we called in on Anastasia to collect Siamese cat Musik who’s travelling with us to London. Anastasia was very emotional as she told us how much she would miss Musik. Thinking that perhaps she was staying behind in Portugal, we commiserated with Anastasia, saying we hoped she and Musik would see each other again one day. Yes, said Anastasia, but not until Thursday!
Poppy could be the sis of Whitley :o) and I love this cute pup named Blue! 5 wine bottle corks… not bad… hope the pieces are really well chewed, to have a bottle cork on the wrong place could be uncomfy :o)
She most certainly could. Luckily couriers J&M were on the case – it was better he chewed the corks than anything else in the room 😉
All snuggled up in his carrier – not a thing in the world to worry about! Adorable.
A nice sleep and he’ll be there in no time!
Lovely pictures. Thank you for posting.
Glad you enjoyed them.
Poppy is adorable and Blue is such a cutie. Look at those eyes peering out of that carrier.
Safe travels to all.
You have to take our word for it that those eyes belong to Musik!
Oh what gorgeous furry travellers…and I am sure Musik is too haahaah 🙂 as for the cork eating Blue ..well an excuse perhaps for Courier M to pick up some wine on the way 🙂 loves Fozziemum xxx
Now now, courier M doesn’t need an excuse 😉
Do any of us ??? hahahaha 🙂 xx
Blue – what a character he looks to be! Hope reunions are in store for all of those animals with their humans ASAP!
Hugs, Pam
For such a little fellow, Blue is turning out to be the boss of this trip!
A cork eating Min-Pin. Cute or probably not if pieces should clog up his intestines- that is if he swallowed any of the cork.
Musik is one lucky cat to be so loved. Sounds like he’s a tear jerker..
The Border Collie in the header is a quite a looker. Beautiful dog and great picture.
Luckily couriers J&M were on the case and no cork was swallowed. Just relieved that he chose the corks and not the furniture 😉
The furniture would not have been good nor funny. 🙂
Love the expressions on their faces – both pet owners and pets.
Some well loved pets there.
I always feel refreshed after I visit your blog, knowing there are loving people out there who truly care about the little critters that live among us. 🙂
Thanks – we do have very caring owners!
But Blue looks so innocent in that last shot. Surely he couldn’t have been the culprit. Hope everything comes out alright! 🙂
What, moi? No damage done, it’ll just take courier M a number of days more of collecting to make up the next board 😉
