As we head into Autumn, we thought it was time to catch you up with a round-up of pets on the move around Europe over the summer. From France, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland to Greece, England and Scotland, these dogs, cats and even a hamster are all well travelled. And none more so than the cats in our final story, whose trip took them from Azerbaijan to London by way of Paris.
Kitty and Berta, 2 cats from Italy to Scotland
Art’s gorgeous cats, Kitty and Berta, travelled with us from Rome. We noticed one pet passport was out of date, so Art organised a new one. The cats sat out the waiting time for the passport to become valid in Calais. As soon as we could, we scooped them up and drove them to Elgin for a reunion with Art, who wrote to say:
“Both cats are settling in and exploring the new house. Berta looks a bit grumpy in the photo but is doing fine. Kitty is already exploring the yard and tried escaping out a 2nd floor window. She has never been described as calm, and when you mentioned ‘calm’ we were wondering if the wrong cat would be delivered! They are both doing well and thank you for transporting them!”

Dogs on the move

Delightful Eddie, a young Australian Cobber, travelled with courier John from mainland Europe.

After a short stay with us in Surrey, Eddie continued his journey with courier Trevor to his new family in Scotland, where he enjoyed a rapturous welcome.

Courier Trevor collected handsome Border Collie Buck in Dublin, Ireland. Courier John then took over his transport to join his family in Italy.

We love Kesuk’s blue eyes! This stunning Husky/Malamute cross started his journey in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He travelled with us all the way to Greece to rejoin his family.

Tiny Yorkshire Terrier Bekas travelled with us from Lisbon in Portugal to Kent. Here she is chilling out in our courier’s hotel room in France.

Dear Chip, a Border Terrier, joined us in London for his journey to Austria. Here he is fast asleep in our courier’s hotel bedroom.

We met up with playful puppy Walter in Oxfordshire for his journey to the South of France. He needs to grow into those ears and paws!

Sleek and silky King Charles Spaniel Rocky hopped on board in London for his journey to the south of France.
Cats on the move

We called in at a very luxurious cattery in Bavaria, Germany, to collect Luna and Reed. They travelled with us to join their owner in Stockton on Tees. Here’s beautiful Luna…

…and this is splendid Maine Coone Reed.

Darling Betsy made the journey from Munich in Germany to Portishead as her owners were relocating. From the photo they sent, it’s clear she’s settling in well to her new home.

Freya’s owners asked us to transport her as they were relocating from Lucerne in Switzerland to Lancashire. It was our pleasure to have this delightful girl on board.

We transported Chester and Luna from Surrey to Luxembourg. Meet cool cat Chester…

…and glorious Luna.
2 dogs, 2 cats and a hamster from Portugal to England
We collected this family of five in Sintra for their journey to Essex and a happy reunion with their owners.

Jasper and Maple, 2 cats from Azerbaijan to London via Paris
When Steve was ready to relocate back to England from Azerbaijan, he booked his fabulous cats Jasper and Maple onto a flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle. We were on hand to collect them from the airport and drive them to their new home in London.

Stairs are still a novelty for Jasper and Maple, but Steve reports they’re getting the hang of them!

A very adorable round0up.
Isn’t it just!

I enjoyed reading your roundup of pets on the move around Europe. It’s fascinating to see how you’re facilitating the safe transport of these beloved animals across borders. Your dedication to ensuring their well-being during these journeys is truly commendable. Each pet’s story adds a personal touch to your post, and it’s heartening to know that there are people like you making these international moves as stress-free as possible for both the pets and their owners. ❤️
