Couriers Paul and Trevor recently returned from Greece with two family dogs from Turkey and a rescue cat on board.

Kouriakis, a cat from Greece to England

Dear little Kouriakis (also known as Kourkounel) was rescued by Makri. Kouriakis has been staying with Makri’s father while she arranged his journey to the UK. Unfortunately, her father broke his leg, so Makri needed to find a way for Kouriakis to travel as soon as possible.

Fortunately, Animalcouriers were on their way to Greece to collect Murphy and Baby, two dogs belonging to Gulce and Mert, and had room on board for Kouriakis.

Murphy and Baby, two dogs from Turkey to England via Greece

These splendid dogs belong to Gulce and Mert, who have relocated to the UK. Gulce didn’t want the dogs (whom she calls ‘her babies’) to fly and, in any case, Great Dane Murphy is too big for a travel box.

With her parents, Gulce spend two days driving Murphy and Baby from Turkey to Athens, to meet up with couriers Paul and Trevor. They were fortunate to be leaving Turkey just before the terrible earthquake struck.

On the ferry from Patras to the Italian port of Ancona, Paul and Trevor booked a big cabin for themselves and the two dogs. From Ancona, they drove to London with Murphy and Baby. Meanwhile, Gulce boarded a plane to the UK to be on hand when her precious dogs arrived.
