Animalcouriers recently made a trip for pet transport to Norway, coming back via Germany. Ferries are a feature of this trip — courier Gwen caught seven of them, starting with a crossing of the Channel.
Rory, a dog from Stockton on Tees to Norway
We collected darling Cavapoo Rory from Sue in Stockton on Tees. Rory belongs to Sue’s son Nathan, and was travelling with us to join Nathan in Haugesund, a port town north of Stavanger. Rory proved to be charming company and was very excited to be reunited with Nathan after his road trip with us.

Such excitement as Rory and Nathan were reunited in Haugesund

Haugesund was full of interesting, independent shops like this one

A tiny library — but how did a British phonebox find its way here, we wonder?

Gear for aspiring steampunks

Buttons galore!

Spotted in town — a sculpture of a ram…

…and another of a lynx
Luna, a dog from London to Norway
Gorgeous Chihuahua Luna travelled at the same time as Rory. Also heading to Norway, we picked her up from Maria in London. Her final destination was Orie and a reunion with owner Berit.

Nemo, a cat from Germany to England
Having safely delivered Rory and Luna to their Norwegian destinations, courier Gwen headed back towards the UK via Hamburg, where delightful ginger tabby Nemo was waiting to hop on board. Nemo belongs to Hannah, who’s moved to London. Her family have been taking care of Nemo until he could join her.

A very happy reunion for Nemo and Hannah
Lovely photos…….I’ve always said the reunions are my favorite photos – pet owners just don’t feel “whole” when they’re stay from their pets and those reunions are unforgettable moments that Animal Couriers makes happen under all kinds of circumstances! Bravo to you!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
We’re really enjoying our trips to the Nordics, always lots of fun things to see. Lots of lovely pets too!

Now, there’s a surprise! It’s a mix with a Cavalier King Charles spaniel and does produce the most delightful dogs.
