Animalcouriers made several trips to and from Scandinavia, enjoying sunshine, scenery and sweet treats on the road as we transported cute cats, dashing dogs and gorgeous guinea pigs. Our destinations included Copenhagen in Denmark, Stockholm in Sweden, Helsinki in Finland, Oslo in Norway, and a side trip to Prague in the Czech Republic.

Stunning Malinois Valhalla, full of energy, travelled with us from the UK to join owner Christina in Stockholm. A few weeks later, she was ready for her return trip with us to London.

Sunny, a dog travelling from Denmark to the UK
We collected charming Shiba Inu Sunny, 14 years young, from his loving family in Copenhagen. Sunny by name and by nature, he travelled well and was reunited with his family in London.

Sweet treats to savour in Sweden
The Swedes seem to know a thing or two about sweets and cakes. Here’s a very small selection of some of the delights we tried to resist!

Three cats travel from the UK to Sweden
Cecilia’s trio of fabulous felines, Viktor, Reuben and Saga, made the journey with us from Winchester to Uppland. They were happy to share a bedroom and appreciated having little nooks and hiding spaces to get comfortable on the trip, which helped ensure they arrived calm and relaxed.

In Prague we collected Pana’s cats, Drake and Princezna, and birds Juan and Pinha. Their destination was Copenhagen, where Pana’s girlfriend Raquel was on hand to receive them.

Handsome Boxer dog Kastor and his feline friend Truls travelled with us from Norfolk in England to Falun in Sweden, where their family were overjoyed to see them again.

Two guinea pigs travel to Finland
Delightful (and delightfully named) guinea pigs, Squashy and Butternut, make the journey with Animalcouriers from London to the Finnish capital, Helsinki.

Wow, lots of Scandinavian travels and lots of dogs (Valhalla, Betty, Kastor, Trul, Francis, Amos, Junior, Harvey, and Pierre and Otis, I might have missed some) and cats (Viktor, Reuben and Saga) all going to or from Sweden my native country. You have certainly been busy. I am glad you liked the Swedish sweets. My wife likes the Vacuum cleaners (dammsugare), the green and brown marsipan and chocolate treats. So many wonderful traveller’s coming and going! How on Earth to you manage the language differences. I’m sure a dog from Sweden understands Swedish, or maybe even German.
