Regular passengers travelling for summer holidays, and pets relocating

Our latest trip through France, Italy and Spain β€” involving two of our vans β€” included several regular passengers, travelling for summer holidays; as well as a number of permanent relocations. Tilly Dear little Yorkie Tilly, who belongs to Charlotte, is a regular Animalcouriers client. She travelled with us from Surrey to her summer holiday home in the lovely area of St Prex in Switzerland. Tilly recently had surgery on her left front paw and sported a rather fetching silvery contraption to protect it. Although initially nervous about putting her paw down, she showed she was recovering well as she [...]

Waiting for the crossing at Folkestone, a seagull perched on the van roof. Hoping for a lift maybe? Cleo and Atticus Doctors Aline and Boris have relocated from London back to Paris. They were especially keen that their beautiful Burmese cats should make the journey in one day, and we were happy to oblige. Aline saw the cats off from London, and Boris was waiting [...]

Swedish hospitality β€” and cats called Maki and Frusty

Having delivered all our passengers from the UK, we headed to Stockholm to collect our Swedish passenger, a cat called Maki, before making our way to Rotterdam to meet Frusty. Coffee stop on the road. We were lucky enough to enjoy a perfect summer temperature of 24C, complete with a cooling breeze, while much of Europe sweltered in a heatwave. Swedish hospitality On our way to Stockholm we looked for overnight accommodation in the mid west of Sweden,. We followed our noses into the countryside and came upon a rather wonderful place to stay. Not much more than [...]

Cats, geckos, dogs and a budgie get on board

Animalcouriers set off from the UK with cats, geckos, dogs and a budgie on board, on our way to Scandinavia by way of the Netherlands. Jimmy Budgerigar Jimmy belongs to Lauren, who's relocated from Bedfordshire to the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. We collected Jimmy from Lauren's lovely mum Janet, who's been budgie sitting while Lauren completed her move. Jimmy had a short stay with courier J, who found him to be the most cheerful companion. She could quite understand why Janet found it hard to see Jimmy leave! Janet with the very acrobatic Jimmy After a traffic-laden journey [...]
