Our latest trip through France, Italy and Spain — involving two of our vans — included several regular passengers, travelling for summer holidays; as well as a number of permanent relocations.
Tilly
Dear little Yorkie Tilly, who belongs to Charlotte, is a regular Animalcouriers client. She travelled with us from Surrey to her summer holiday home in the lovely area of St Prex in Switzerland. Tilly recently had surgery on her left front paw and sported a rather fetching silvery contraption to protect it. Although initially nervous about putting her paw down, she showed she was recovering well as she became more confident on all her paws.

Echo and Kima
We collected Irish Setter Echo and Flat-coated Retriever Kima in London, and delivered them to Davina and family in St Moritz, Switzerland. Kima has travelled with Animalcouriers before, with a companion who is sadly no longer with us. This was ‘new girl’ Echo’s first journey with us, and she was a little uncertain at first. But plenty of contact with Kima and extra walks soon saw her settle in to life on the road.

Both dogs are delightful — well behaved and very respectful towards Davina. Here’s Kima showing how it’s done…

…and Echo following the trend
Lila
Adorable Labrador Lila, who belongs to Fausta, is another regular Animalcouriers passenger. We collected her in London for her summer trip to the Italian city of Milan. Lila is a very chilled-out dog who takes travelling in her stride.

Fausta’s son saw Lila off in London

We delivered Lila to a family friend in Milan, who’ll take care of her until Fausta arrives
Sven and Otto
These two dogs have the sort of looks that really turn heads. Sven is a blond Alsatian, and Otto, his son, is crossed with a Collie, which adds wonderful colours to the mix.
Owner Mariano works from home, so is rarely apart from these good boys, and found it hard to part with them in London. We kept in close contact during the trip, and both Mariano and partner were on hand to welcome the dogs in Lamporecchio.

Goodbye cuddles in London for Otto and Sven

Very happy hellos in Italy as Mariano and Ben welcome Sven and Otto
Louie, Peanut and Fluffy
Vanessa’s fine feline trio joined our trip in Nice, south of France, heading with us to Dorset as Vanessa is relocating. All three remained permanently interested in all the goings-on around them throughout the journey.

Lovely Louie

Pensive Peanut

Gorgeous floof Fluffy
Cox and Liebing
We collected James’s splendid tabby cat Liebing and his slinky black chum Cox in Barcelona. They travelled with us to Newcastle upon Tyne.

Harley
Young Labrador Harley joined us in Girona, Spain. travelling with us to rejoin owner Renate in Bristol.

Handsome hound Harley
Esme, Renoir, Snoopy and Amber
Until recently Rachel lived with her parents in the Carcassonne area, where the volunteered for the local cat rescue charity. Unsurprisingly, Rachel acquired four delightful cats as a result, who travelled with us to rejoin Rachel at her new UK home.

Rachel’s parents, who had been caring for the cats since Rachel moved, saw them away

Samson and Mouflette
We collected Mavis and John’s adorable cats Samson and Mouflette from a cattery in the Ariège region of France. They travelled with us for a reunion with Mavis and John in Wales.

Stunning tuxedo puss Samson

Darling Mouflette
Omaddy
Labrador Omaddy is the much loved pet of Natasha and family. Having lived in the Bordeaux area of France for a while, they’re now relocating to Worcestershire.

Omaddy is very tolerant of the children’s antics!

A goodbye cuddle for this gorgeous girl

The whole gang was on hand to see Omaddy on her way…

…and ready to welcome her in Worcestershire, where she was delighted to see everyone again
Nugget
Nugget is an unusual puss — a ginger tabby girl. We collected her from Maria, who’s been looking after her for about a month. As well as loving cats, Maria is a keen footballer who used to play for FC Porto, and now plays for Lyon. We dropped pretty little Nugget off at the Hogwood Lodge Cattery near Bath to await the arrival of owners Emily and Paul.

Maria was on hand to see Nugget away

Nugget nicely settled in for the trip

Prisca, Sooty and Boycie
Peter and his wife have lived in the Lyon area of France for 16 years. They’re now relocating further north, to Pas de Calais, so that they and their children and grandchildren can visit each other more easily.
We had the pleasure of transporting their beloved kitties to the lovely Pension du Moulinel in St Josse, where they’ll have a short stay while their owners complete their house move.

What a huge batch of summer travelers – all safe and sound and reunited with families……….smiles all along the way prove that Animal Couriers is THE BEST at what they do!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
It was a busy holiday trip with lots of people taking their pets with them!
How do you fit them all in? Your van must be like the Tardis!
Some of those cats look rather regal. I think it must have been a fun trip.
It was a busy trip but lots of cats and they have smaller rooms 😉
Love the sunglasses in the header photo.
We were rather taken with it too.
How lovely to see the returning passengers here! They surely must be grateful for the excellent care they receive on every journey. Safe travels to all.
Our returning passenger numbers go up and up — it’s lovely to see them on a regular basis, they’re cool with all the arrangements straight off!
Such treasure you are given to take care of.
The most precious.
Tilly’s contraption is quite fashionable. Can’t resist all those soulful feline eyes. What a marvelous bunch to travel with once again. You folks make it look so easy traveling with all your precious passengers.
We can see Tilly’s look taking off — maybe for humans too!
The eyes had it today. Soulful cats but a real cool dog.
We think she was doing an Elvis impression.
I’m thinking that Tilly should be renamed Peg Leg. And I have to confess, I am a bit jealous as all of the animals head out for their summer vacations! 🙂 –Curt
We’re sure that you and Peggy have plenty of things planned 😉
Beautiful passengers. I really like the kitties looking at the camera with on eye.
Courier M loves it when he can get that shot.
So many cats this time… all beautiful. I am so happy you get them reunited with their peeps. Fun to see the girls on the back of the van and a bit of the inside. Doing what you do best!
Yes, we did have lots of beautiful felines this time. Most people love to see inside the van — the passengers give them a big welcome 😉

Thought you might like the look of Sooty!
They are all stunning! I love that Irish Setter. I don’t see many of them over here anymore.
The Irish Setters were wonderfully well behaved — their owner takes great care in her training. You’re right, there aren’t quite so many about these days.
We’re smiling from ear to ear to see all the travellers around, Annie 🙂 Pawkisses for a wonderful trip ahead 🙂 <3
