Collecting Caramel at Claridge’s

We collected gorgeous little Caramel at Claridge's Hotel in London for her journey to Paris. Caramel is a regular client of ours, as she and owner Louise split their time between London and Paris. When courier Paul arrived at Claridge's, he was greeted by the friendly doormen. Family housekeeper Mary was ready with Caramel for their cross-channel trip. They made the journey by Eurotunnel and reached Louise in Paris later the same day. Animalcouriers outside Claridge's Hotel, with Mary and Caramel ready to hop on board Claridge's doormen helping to stow the luggage efficiently [...]

Ukrainian dog Neo and his family reach Scotland

We were pleased to help little Ukrainian dog Neo and his family reach Scotland. From Ukraine to France via Germany After leaving Ukraine, Snezhana, her son Danylo and daughter Kira spent two months in Cologne, Germany. They were waiting for permission (a special licence) to bring their little dog Neo into the UK, where their sponsor in Glasgow was ready to welcome them. Once they received Neo's special licence, the family made their way to Calais. So that they didn't have to stay in a refugee camp, their sponsor booked them into the Premier Inn for the night. Danylo [...]

Reuniting Cheeta with his Ukrainian family in the UK

Animalcouriers recently helped with reuniting Cheeta with his Ukrainian family in the UK. This dear little dog and his family had a rather upsetting experience before Animalcouriers got involved, but we're pleased to say there was a happy ending. Cheeta and his family initially travelled with an unscrupulous Polish pet transporter who took no notice of the government rules on Ukrainian pets entering the UK. He popped the family and Cheeta into his van for one of his scheduled trips (the other pets complied with the rules for their journeys), and charged them quite a hefty sum for the [...]

Santa and Persek from Ukraine reach the UK

Santa and Persek from Ukraine reached the UK with owners Tania and Alina. Courier Ray collected this gorgeous dog and magnificent cat, along with their mother-and-daughter owners, at a shelter in Calais and brought them to the UK. Duncan Murray-Clarke, owner of Service Dealer, was on hand to welcome Tania and Alina and their pets Santa and Persek on arrival in Dover. Working with industry partners, Duncan's business has made donations to a number of organisations supporting Ukrainian refugees, including a generous sum to Animalcouriers. Duncan said: "Animalcouriers did this collection free of charge, so we are making a donation [...]

From Malta to the Netherlands by road and sea

Indi, a lovely German Shepherd Dog cross, belongs to Amy, who's relocated from Malta to the Netherlands. Amy's been working as an IT specialist on Malta for a couple of years. During that time, she adopted Indi from a local shelter. At the time, poor Indi had a terrible ear infection. Although it cleared up under Amy's tender care, Indi has been left with sensitive ears. So much so that when Amy was planning her relocation to Amsterdam, the vet advised against Indi flying. So Animalcouriers stepped in to transport the dog by road and ferry from Malta to the [...]

Meeting search and rescue dog Teal at Paris Charles de Gaulle

Animalcouriers met search and rescue dog Teal at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. Teal flew in with Mike from Afghanistan. Teal and Mike were on active duty in Kabul, where they were both blown up and left very shaken. Mike told us he owes his life to Teal. Mike has sponsored Teal's journey to the UK, where Teal will stay at a farm in Wiltshire to recover. They will then decide whether Teal, who is owned by the British Embassy, will retrain or retire. In the meantime, Mike has gone back to work. Mike and Teal at CDG [...]

A quick trip to Paris and the sunny south of France

Courier Richard made a quick trip to Paris and the sunny south of France with cats and a dog on board. He then scooped up two cats making the return journey to London. Waiting for the crossing at Folkestone, a seagull perched on the van roof. Hoping for a lift maybe? Cleo and Atticus Doctors Aline and Boris have relocated from London back to Paris. They were especially keen that their beautiful Burmese cats should make the journey in one day, and we were happy to oblige. Aline saw the cats off from London, and Boris was waiting [...]

16 Maine Coon cats and their canine chum are relocating to Crete

Emma and Warren along with their 16 Maine Coon cats and their canine chum are relocating to Crete from Hampshire. Couriers Martin and Marc went to collect the whole gang bright and early, stopping off on the way for final health checks for the TRACES certificate at Kynoch Vets in Yateley, Hampshire. This trip took us overland to Greece via Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Usually we take the ferry to Greece from Italy. This time, however, we couldn't get a ferry trip on that route with a shaded open deck. We felt that for these very furry cats, some [...]

Happy reunions in England and Scotland

Courier Paul has transported a number of pets on recent trips, ensuring happy reunions in England and Scotland. Here are just a few of the delightful cats and dogs he's had the pleasure of meeting. Handsome four-year-old ginger puss Simba reunited with owner Cornel. The family has moved from the edge of the New Forest to the Wirral. Gorgeous (but camera-shy) little Kemet, reunited with owner Anna. Five-year-old Kemet started her journey with us in Lyon, to join owner Anna who’s relocated to London. Anna told us she chose the name Kemet as it’s an Egyptian term [...]
