It's time to catch you up on some of our first post-Brexit pet travellers to continental Europe, the US and the Cayman Islands. We've also been busy on the road in the UK with puppies and a cat. Couriers Glenn and Shane made a recent journey to Greece with pets on board. On the way, the stopped off to collect a pair of Greece-bound cats in the Netherlands, and delivered three cats and a Mini-Poodle pup to their families in Italy. Marshmallow, Tuppence and Pipo, 3 cats from Ireland to Italy Silvia's three marvellously monikered cats started their journey in the Republic of Ireland. Animalcouriers travelled back in the UK with pets from Portugal, Spain and France. We had two vans on the road, so that we could collect pets from all over Spain as well as Portugal. We met up in France for the last leg of the journey home, with two degus and a hamster on board in addition to our more usual canine and feline passengers. With the UK due to leave the EU on 29 March 2019, many of our clients are asking what the effect of Brexit will be on pet travel between the UK and the EU.
