Couriers J and M set off on a trip to Scandinavia with cats and dogs on board travelling from England and Wales to Denmark and Sweden.
Kevin, a dog from London to Denmark
Charming mini-Schnauzer Kevin belongs to Karin and her husband, who were finally able to travel to Copenhagen once lockdown was lifted. She asked us to bring Kevin to her as soon as they were settled in their lovely riverside apartment.

A joyous reunion for Kevin with his owners
Maud, a cat from Bristol to Denmark
A last-minute addition to our trip, Maud belongs to Becky and Dan. Becky rang us just before we left the UK, saying she and Dan were struggling to find a way to move Maud to Billund with them, where Dan has a new job with Lego.
Fortunately we had space for Maud, so her owners could make their own journey knowing she would arrive shortly after them.

Pretty Maud

Dan happy to receive Maud
Mum, Grey and Ghost, 3 cats from Colombia to Sweden (via Madrid and Essex)
Mum, Grey and Ghost are Jon’s adored feline trio. Mum and Grey found him when he was living in Colombia — Mum simply brought her kitten and moved in, clever girl!
Ghost showed up later on, looking dishevelled with broken teeth and an abscess on his neck. Jon couldn’t say no, so took him in and got him sorted out by the vet. These days Ghost is deaf, toothless and incredibly nosy. He soon proved himself the character cat of our trip.
Jon contacted us when he was leaving Columbia. He arranged for the cats to fly to Madrid about a month ago, where they received new passports and courier Ricardo brought them to the UK. Now they’re on the final leg of their journey to Harplinge in Sweden, where Jon will be working as a teacher.

Jon thrilled to be reunited with his cats
Winnie, a young dog from Wales to Sweden
Labrador puppy Winnie was all set to travel from Wales to Sweden at the age of 16 weeks, when lockdown struck. Finally, at six months old, she’s been able to travel. Although Ken and his wife have sadly missed out on a few months of puppy life with her, she is an exceptional and well behaved young Lab. Obedient and friendly, doesn’t pull on the lead, and loves to play. A treasure worth waiting for!

Courier M rather fell in love with Winnie

A long wait but worth it for Winnie’s delighted owners
Kaffeburken, a cat from London to Sweden
Caroline and her stunning cat Kaffeburken were stranded in London by lockdown restrictions. Able to travel at last, we had the pleasure of transporting Kaffeburken on Caroline’s behalf.

Those eyes!

Caroline’s sister and family members were on hand to welcome Kaffeburken to the Stockholm area
Toulouse and Celine, 2 cats from Liverpool to Sweden
A simply gorgeous pair of Sacred Birm cats, Toulouse and Celine belong to Evalina. She is returning to her home country to be reunited with her boyfriend and family, and continue her nursing career.

The eyes have it on this trip – gorgeous!
Hypnotising!
A great picture of Maud.
Ah, Maud is very photogenic.
Oh what beautiful pets………….and happy humans!
Hugs, Pam and teddy
Great combination!
It’s always lovely to see the sweet little faces. I couldn’t help but think that Maud looks so much like my Virgil, but with differently placed black/white patterns. I suppose they all look so alike with the eyes and nose and mouth, but I think they could be siblings! It’s great you were able to help the owners with a last minute addition, that must have been such a relief for them.xx
There have been a lot of last minute additions recently when people have just caught a trip that’s about to leave 😉
Have to agree with Clowie. The eyes were quite amazing on this trip. I’ll second that!
Yes, the cats have been putting on quite the show!
The passengers always make me smile, but the stories today of the long waits due to the lock downs from the coronavirus are particularly moving. Good for the kindnesses of all those who give these precious creatures homes and good on you and your couriers for bringing them together again. You are essential heroes to me.
Thanks Sheila, there are some sad and happy lockdown stories. We’d rather keep our happy.
