Here’s a round up of a few of our recent trips around the UK and Europe, taking in Ireland, France, Germany and Switzerland.

Darling Summer travelled with us from Wisbech to Cork

Besotted owner Aoife wrote to say: “Thank you so much for accommodating us in order to get our puppy Summer over to Cork. She arrived this morning and has been a bundle of joy since! Also, a huge thank you to courier Mike for taking such great care of her on the journey and keeping us informed along the way.”

Aoife continued: “You made it possible for her to join us during these unprecedented times — it would likely have been many months before we could go to collect her ourselves, and we would have missed out on many weeks of her young age and fun!’
Mickey, Raffles and Gabrielle, 3 dogs from France to the UK
We met this delightful Cocker Spaniel trio in south-west France. They belong to Sheila and her daughter Caroline, who have moved back to the UK. While Sheila and Caroline completed their move, the dogs stayed in kennels near us. Once Sheila and Caroline were settled, we drove to Mickey, Raffles and Gabrielle to Cornwall for a very happy reunion.
Naturally, Sheila and Caroline missed their dogs very much while they were apart. Sheila sent us a super video of the dogs’ feeding time, telling us: “Mickey and Gabrielle do something akin to a highland fling. Gabrielle is Mickey’s much younger half-sister. From a young puppy she watched him and copied him in everything.”

Hello hugs and kisses with Caroline

Asterix, a dog from Provence to Hertfordshire
Asterix, a German Shepherd–Collie cross, travelled with us from the Var region of France to join his family in Hertfordshire.

The whole family turned out to greet handsome hound Asterix
Jenna, a dog from France to Wales
Caught up in a tug of love, darling Border Collie Jenna is at last back with her family in Wales. The logistics of getting Jenna to the UK proved rather challenging. Courier Glenn was refused access on an earlier Animalcouriers trip, before Covid-19 led to lockdowns. When France started emerging from lockdown, we were finally able to arrange for Jenna’s collection by our vet in France, Dr Diana James, who prepared her pet passport ready for her to travel to the UK.
It was an emotional time for owner Nicola and her family, who were pleased and relieved to know that Jenna was finally on her way. Jenna is quite a senior lady — Nicola tells us she is so happy to have Jenna back and able to oversee her through her twilight years.

Time for a snooze after all that running around!

Friendly Cavapoo Rocky hopped on board in Essex and travelled with us to the Haute Savoie region of France.

OMG – how do you ever leave these precious babies with their families – kidnapping would be my only option, I fear. So glad I am not one of your couriers!!
Safe travels, my friends!

It looks like you made a lot of people happy.
The faces tell it all.
Wow, such blue peepers that ragdoll kittykat has, gawgeous. Must admit I had to Google the word ‘squee’ used earlier on in the post, never heard that term before but I like it – very cute, or squee, indeed!xx
We think that squee is rather a good word!
