Courier Ricardo headed to Wakefield in West Yorkshire to collect six Tibetan Terrier puppies from breeder Heather. As a responsible breeder, Heather usually insists that new owners collect their puppies in person. Under the Covid-19 lockdown, however, she knew this wasn’t possible. So she contacted Animalcouriers, as we are Defra-registered hauliers, to discuss the possibility of us delivering the puppies.
Heather interviewed us in depth and checked our credentials before agreeing to entrust her beautiful puppies to us for transport. We also had calls with the puppies’ new owners, who wanted to know details of the trip. We were pleased that everyone was so focused on the puppies’ safety and wellbeing.
When courier Ricardo arrived, the six puppies were waiting with the rest of their litter mates, all newly microchipped and vaccinated by Heather’s vet. Each puppy sported a different coloured collar, and each collar was matched to the new owner. Heather also provided a list of the puppies’ microchip numbers, so that we could double check their identities with our microchip reader — just in case they chewed each other’s collars off!
A couple of hours out of Wakefield, courier Ricardo met up with courier Ray to hand over two of the puppies for their journeys to the south west of England. Splitting the deliveries in this way kept each puppy’s journey as short and direct as possible.

Marvelous collection of puppies – precious beyond words!!
So glad your reputation precedes you now – well deserved for sure. Bless you all with safe travels.
Lots of love going to these wonderful homes. Makes me happy to see.
We did get the third degree!
A friend of mine breeds Tibetan Terriers. They are fun little dogs! Do your couriers feel like Santa Claus when they deliver puppies? I would love to see a video of people meeting their pup for the first time!
Hard enough to get a photo let alone a video but it would be lovely.
They sure are a sweet batch of cuties! I’m glad they all have good homes – I’m sure Heather is happy they do too!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Heather made sure they were going to very good homes!
They look adorable and ready to chew things up.
We’d love to hear from the owners the tally of destruction!
Oh how adorable.
Aren’t they.
I am pleased that you are still able to conduct some business under our present trying circumstances.
We’re winding down puppy trips in England now people there have more freedom but Europe is starting to take off…
They’re adorable. I hope they all settle in to their new homes quickly.
We’re sure they’ll do some wonderful distraction to locked down people and get thoroughly spoiled.
No-one could ever be deliver the puppies better than you, Annie and team. This must have been so much fun with the cuties. Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday to you all. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie 🙂 <3
It was huge fun!
What a sweet bunch of puppies, and a wonderful delivery team!
Hard work for some 😉
These sweeties have me drooling…. 😀 GOOD precaution in case the collars get chewed. It’s what puppies do. I have no doubt you passed your exam with flying colors. Nice to see the breeder being so careful.
There are so many puppy scammers around at the moment — everyone should be VERY CAREFUL!
They are just adorable! I’ve never heard of that breed before… Had to Google the full sized photo
A gorgeous breed and hope to see more in the future.

We are desperately looking for a Tibetan Terrie pup. It’s not going so well either. We are in Kent so I wondered if Heather was breeding more and you’re still delivering?
Hi Jordana, we can’t recommend breeders but you’ll find Heather on this website: https://www.champdogs.co.uk/breeds/tibetan-terrier/breeders?start=all
Good luck in finding a puppy!
We’ve been in contact with Heather who says she won’t be having any more puppies this year, more likely summer 2021. Hope that helps.
