Couriers Ricardo and Paul are recently back from trip transporting pets between the UK and Italy, Greece and France.
Teal, a cat from Hertfordshire to Siena
We collected gorgeous Ragdoll cat Teal in Hertfordshire for her journey to the Italian province of Siena.

Blue-eyed Teal travelled very confidently

Giorgos and Splodge, 2 cats from Surrey to Crete
When Emma and Warren relocated to Crete last year, we transported their Maine Coon cats for them. Now this splendid pair are on their way to join the family.

Giorgos and Splodge, each taking his own approach to using the cat igloo!

By the time we reached the Italian port of Ancona, these boys were keen to know everything that was going on around them

Amazingly blue sky and sea as we left Ancona

Josh, a kitten from Greece to Italy
In Greece we met handsome Ragdoll kitten Josh, who travelled with us to join Maurizio in the Bologna region of Italy.

A beautiful Greek morning

Young Josh has the stunning blue eyes that are typical of Raggies

Maurizio delighted to take delivery of Josh in Porto Corsini
5 cats from Crete to Northern Ireland
Barbara’s fabulous feline family of five — Squeak, Mother, Baby, Blackie and Tabby — started their journey in Crete. Their final destination is Larne in Northern Ireland.

Splendid Blackie

Beautiful Baby

Gorgeous Tabby
Cutie, a cat from Athens to London
Cutie is a cat who lives up to her name! She travelled with us to rejoin owner Nauziki, who’s relocated from Athens to London.

Imaginative planting!
Annie, a dog from Athens to London
We collected adorable Annie from Farid for her journey to rejoin owner Rebecca in London.
Akis, our dependable friend who runs a pet taxi service in Athens, was on hand to help couriers Ricardo and Paul with his extensive knowledge of Greek paperwork. That left our couriers free to focus their expertise on the pets and the driving.

A joyful — and lively — reunion for Annie with owner Rebecca

Rebecca’s smile says it all
Suki and Ouri, 2 cats from Athens to Dorset
Akis collected Samuel and Rachel’s beloved cats Suki and Ouri for their journey with Animalcouriers to Weymouth in Dorset. They had a short stay at Chris’s Animal Hotel, our partnership kennels and cattery in Athens before travelling with us.
Following her reunion with Suki and Ouri, Rachel wrote to say:
“This great team delivered our two cats from Athens to UK. Took care of everything and the cats arrived in good health and spirits. Totally recommend.”

With Chris at the vet

The cats needed a quick vet checkup, but Suki here is known to have ‘attitude’. So she was lightly sedated for the vet to carry out the check.

All sorted!

Suki comfortably settled in for the journey

Samuel delighted to see Ouri (here) and Suki again
Banjo, Scruff, Fifi and Loulou, 2 dogs and 2 cats from Abruzzo to Suffolk
In Abruzzo, Italy, we met up with Claire, whose dogs Banjo and Scruff, and cats Fifi and Loulou, travelled with us to Suffolk.

Summer, a dog from Italy to Wales
Tiny Chihuahua Summer joined us in Sacrofano, near Rome. Summer belongs to Nicholas, and travelled with us to rejoin him in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales.

Dear little Summer

A happy reunion for Summer and Nicholas in Wales
Maddy, a dog from France to Scotland
On the way through France from Italy we stopped off to collect sweet hound Maddy. Her owners have moved to the Glasgow area, but her pet passport wasn’t ready for her to leave at the same time as them. So she had a short stay at a kennels in Biot, near Nice, which is where we picked her up for her onward journey to rejoin her family.

Gorgeous girl Maddy
I’m glad that all passengers are at their place now and your couriers are back too. what does it mean for you during the next time? can you still cross the borders ?
it’s a relief when trips are finished at the moment. Nothing is guaranteed. The number of countries closing their borders gets bigger by the day 🙁
Stay safe.
Thanks. You too!
Beautiful, endearing passengers and spectacular scenery! I love that old VW Beetle planter, too!
The Beetle is charming!
If only I could mark “Love” on this awesome post – the pictures of all these animals, their peeps, the journey – all make my heart sing today!! Thank you so much for safely transporting these fabulous travelers to their homesteads…
bless you all!
Thanks Sheila, they were a great bunch!
Another amazing post, so full of love and hope and cuteness – Banjo has stolen my heart in this one! It must be getting difficult with transport between countries now, especially so-called ‘hot spots’ like Italy. Stay safe, everyone xx
It’s getting harder and harder as countries are closing their borders almost on a daily basis. We’ll see how long we can go on…
I too am curious to know if you can still safely travel with the pets. The work you do is so important and necessary – stay safe, be well! <3 xoxo
Giorgos and Splodge made me smile and I really enjoyed the reunion photo of Annie and Rebecca. Such joy. And what a great use for an old VW. Please take care and you continue to do your important job! BTW, I am featuring a Corfu cat on my Wednesday post. 🙂 –Curt
Giorgos and Splodge are gorgeous creatures! Popping over to read about Corfu cats now…
It looks like everyone traveled comfortably and in good temper. Congrats!
Thanks GP, they were a calm lot!
It’s so wonderful that your team has helpful friends almost everywhere who can sort out travel records and arrange for vet visits as needed – it’s a “well oiled machine” and that’s why you have so many HAPPY customers!
Hugs, Pam
We couldn’t function as well as we do without all our friends along the road!
Can you still work or are you shut down too now?
It seems to be grinding to a halt as more countries close their borders.
Annie knows how to give a greeting!
I hope the journey wasn’t too difficult with all the restrictions in place for everyone.
Doesn’t she! It’s getting harder and harder…
What a wonderful bunch of passengers, Annie. We hope everything will pass soon, so you can continue your work purroperly *crosses paws* Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie 🙂 <3
Thanks Little B! We have all our paws crossed that things will return to normal soon. Until then…
I’ve been worried about you folks! Take care and stay safe and healthy!
Loved the imaginative VW planter, but then you likely know I have a soft spot for VW bugs.
In case you haven’t seen this video of some fantastic dog yoga:
