Since Covid-19 coronavirus has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO), we wanted to provide an update for pet owners about pet travel at this time.
Animalcouriers has taken UK government advice and, for the time being, there’s no change to essential pet travel — for example, if you’re moving house and we’re transporting your pets for you.
Naturally, we’re concerned for the health and safety of our couriers. So in areas where a lockdown is in force, or there’s a significant pocket of Covid-19 infection, we may ask clients to meet us on the open road, rather than at their homes.
We’re making every effort to fulfil existing contracts for pet transport, but this is a rapidly evolving situation. We’ll continue to seek advice from the relevant authorities and refer back to our clients, giving as much notice as we can if changing policy affects or curtails our plans.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
Difficult times but we hope you all will continue to stay SAFE.
Pam
It isn’t turning out to be a year to be cherished by anyone. We hope that everyone stays safe and we can all get back to living an ordinary life.
Good information
We do need to keep everyone informed of the situation.

Stay safe, my friends.
It is a plague and we’re all at its mercy. Stay safe all of you.
Good luck with all this, What a headache!
A bit of a mare for everyone.
We hope this will pass on with the wind soon, Annie and hope you all stay safe in every way. Extra Safe Pawkisses for you and the team 🙂 <3
May the wind blow it away very quickly indeed! You stay safe too, Little B.
Take care Annie, you and your team.
Thanks! We’re all doing our best. You too.
It’s better to be safe than sorry, they say ☺️ Hoping the virus runs its course as quick as they think (I hear June).
Oh, it certainly is. June would be music to everyone’s ears…
It’s definitely one of those ‘fast evolving’ types of situations and it’s getting increasingly worrying. It’s wonderful you’re still trying and doing the best you can for your customers and their furbabies, that’s all you can do. But stay safe everyone ♥
Caz xx
It is. You almost don’t want to hear any more about it but then you have to look as the news changes so fast. Look after yourself.
One thing I know for sure, AC. You will do the best you can for the pets you transport and their owners. As always. –Curt
Thanks Curt. Take care out there yourself.
Wishing you and your crew good health and there’s no doubt you’ll do all that’s possible for your precious charges.
Thanks Gunta. You do at least have some gorgeous surroundings outside your front door 😉
Keep up the good work and stay healthy. You’re courageous for going out in time of emergency and helping transport cats safely.
I’m glad you are still able to do your job and I hope you all stay well.
We must keep our pets safe!
