Couriers J and M set off from the UK to Switzerland with Katie’s beloved cats. Travelling back through France, they collected cats and a dog heading to the UK.
Geoffrey and Lola, cats from UK to Switzerland
Katie has relocated from London to Switzerland to work for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). She’s excited about her new role supporting volunteers and groups who do great work for wildlife. Naturally, she couldn’t make the move without her own ‘wildlife’ — her beloved cats Geoffrey and Lola.

Wonderful wintry landscapes as we drove between Switzerland and France
Rattie, a dog from France to England
Dear little Rattie belongs to Roger, a toxicologist, whose life just got very busy thanks to coronavirus. We collected Rattie from him in the hills behind Nice for her journey to Oxfordshire, where Janet is waiting at home for her.

Lingling, a cat from Carcassonne to Cambridge
Lingling is a rather gorgeous Ragdoll cat. She belongs to Valerie, who lives near Cambridge. Valerie’s granddaughter Chantelle has been taking care of Lingling until she could travel to rejoin Valerie.

We met Chantelle and Lingling in the picturesque town of Carcassonne

A closer look at beautiful Lingling

Following a haircut, Lingling is sporting a rather natty pink sweater!
Dolly and Maisie, cats from the Dordogne to Kent
Loree, a vet, has a home with James in the Dordogne region of France, where she’s very active in a cat rescue organisation. Two 20-week-old rescue kittens, Dolly and Maisie, are moving to James and Loree’s home in Kent.

Maisie (L) and Dolly (R) — what a delightful duo!

This splendid black floof resides at James and Loree’s French home…

…as does this charming black-and-white puss, who belonged to the previous owners of the house. When they left, they rehomed him to a neighbour, but one day Loree came home to find he’d moved back in. So she let him stay!

At the Logis Europa in Maussac, we enjoyed a superb and well priced meal. The French owners greeted us warmly and commiserated with us about Brexit. They love dogs (they have French bulldogs) so gave Rattie a warm welcome too.
Stan and Mollie, cats from France to Cheshire
Stan and Mollie belong to Lynn and Tom, who are relocating from Aubusson to Cheshire. Their beloved cats, born 14 years ago, are making the move with them.

Snowdrops! A sure sign that spring is just around the corner
What a handsome group of travelers this time around…..lots of cats – I hope Rattie didn’t mind being surrounded on all sides by a troupe of adorable kitties!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Rattie is a very gentle soul and more than happy to share her space!
What a sweet bunch, as always!
They never disappoint!
Adorable
They are.
You must be pleased that Brexit has not landed you with extra work yet.
The operative word being ‘yet’…
The eyes have it this time! All the cats have lovely eyes and the dogs all look rather cute.
I love snowdrops.
They were a rather lovely bunch of passengers. The first ones you see do bring such relief!
ha! stan and mollie will become TWO fab cheshire cats then? cool… then the Alice story needs some changes right? LOL
What an interesting thought…!
Wow – all those lovely cats and poor Rattie, who is equally adorable!!
Safe travels, my friends – you carry so much love with you.
Ah, but Rattie was the only dog and very pleased by that!
Wow how lovely
They were fun to travel with.
Aww…they’re all so cute and Rattie is one gorgeous looking fellow, I only wonder where that name came from 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy and Safe travel ahead to all of you 🙂 <3
Thanks Little B! Not sure where Rattie’s name came from but he’s a very lovely chap.

Pee S: THE snowdropss are so purrty!
The snowdrops keeping us dreaming… 🙂
It’s lovely you had a nice time at the Logic Europa; do the French feel it a shame we’re leaving the EU, too? It’s concerning to think there’s no real plan in place and nobody is quite sure what will happen from here and how things will change. Do you know how it might affect your courier travels?
Maisie & Dolly are so sweet together. I imagine they were together from a young age and were rescued together, so they’ve always known each other’s company? I can’t imagine my cat getting on with another cat ever, which is a shame. Lots of lovely little faces here as always! ♥
Caz xx
Actually, breakfast was on the house as they felt so sorry for us. We’re more hopeful at the moment that a good deal will be reached as a no deal would have been disastrous all round. We’re busy with contingency planning but have our fingers crossed.
Yes, they’ve been together since birth so are nice and calming for each other during the big changes. Can quite understand your cat not wanting company, even some of ours who’ve been together forever would say no to that too 😀
Always a beautiful set of passengers! Those snowdrops are a sure sign that spring is not far off, too.
Wishing you all the best as this year and all its changes, for better and worse, get underway. These are “interesting” times.
They certainly are ‘interesting’ times! Here’s to them being good ones too.
Beautiful cats. At least they’ll get to see some sunshine. My sister lives in Ireland, and she said one day a yellow ball showed up in the sky, and it wasn’t a ufo. It was actually the sun!! Yes, she said, there’s actually something called the sun in Ireland. And Ireland and the UK pretty much have the same climate. These cats will love to see the sun, although they may not know what it is at first.
Being desert creature by origin, I think the cats will like a bit of sunshine.
Ha ha! Yes, it has been known to be sunny in Ireland 😉
Mew mew mew same here Miss Annie, same here…. 😉
Beautiful cats!
They are all gorgeous!
Another great bunch. Oh! the place y’all go!!! A tough job, but someone’s gotta do it! 😀
I knew someone who had a ‘ragdoll’. That’s one beautiful cat breed.
Oh course, if I HAD to choose, it might be Ratty!
You surprise us Gunta 😀 There’s more than a little poodle in Ratty…
Oh such adorable cats! I especially love Lingling’s small pink sweater 🙂
Isn’t it pretty and doing a great job!
What a beautiful group. I love the photo of Maisie and Dolly together.
It’s one of our recent favourites .
Lovely photos. You’re nice and busy 🙂
Brexit is putting a slight spanner in the works but people won’t stop needing to travel 😉
Great looking cats!
Only the best travel with us 😉
That black floof looks like they have better things going on than taking a dumb picture. Hahaha. Great post!! Maisie and Dolly are quite the cuties!
Photographing pets eh? Hiding to nowhere often but fun in the trying!
Do the cats moan a lot when travelling? My limited experience of travelling with cats is of a certain amount of yowling.
