Animalcouriers met search and rescue dog Teal at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. Teal flew in with Mike from Afghanistan.

Teal and Mike were on active duty in Kabul, where they were both blown up and left very shaken. Mike told us he owes his life to Teal.

Mike has sponsored Teal’s journey to the UK, where Teal will stay at a farm in Wiltshire to recover. They will then decide whether Teal, who is owned by the British Embassy, will retrain or retire. In the meantime, Mike has gone back to work.

From CDG we drove Teal to Eurotunnel to cross the Channel to the UK. Here's Teal at check-in — what a splendid and obedient fellow he is!
