Couriers J and M made a European trip with cats, dogs and a hamster called Ham-Ham. Courier M initially headed to Sweden from the UK with Nisse the cat, then made his way to Denmark, where courier J joined him.
Nisse
Adorable tabby cat NIsse belongs to Andrew, who’s relocated for work from West Sussex to Västragöteland in Sweden. Nisse travelled with us for a reunion with her family at their new Swedish home.

We love Nisse’s splendid tabby markings
Ham-Ham
Having collected courier J at Copenhagen airport, we drove to Berlin to meet Syrian hamster Ham-Ham. He belongs to Helen and family, who’ve moved from the German capital to Essex.

Helen takes delivery of Ham-Ham, in his rather splendid quarters. Helen wrote to say: “Thank you to everyone involved in getting Ham-Ham back to the UK for us. Really great service, I’m very glad we used you.”

Ham-Ham has a splendid dark brown coat
Bella and Rosie
From Berlin we made our way to the Netherlands to collect Bella and Rosie. We first met this gorgeous pair of Rotties a couple of years ago, when we arranged their flights from the UK to Bahrain.
With the family now relocating to Monza in Italy, Bella and Rosie flew from Bahrain to Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport. After a night’s rest, they were ready to hop on board our van for their onward journey to Monza.

We popped these two girls into a big bedroom at the back of our van

Peanut
We were pleased to see regular passenger Peanut again. This lovely Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) joined us in Mougins, France for her journey back to London to rejoin owner Mark and family.

Rémy handed Peanut over for the journey

We stopped for the night near Narbonne, where Peanut enjoyed a walk along the canal towpath

Mark’s son was on hand to welcome Peanut home to London
Max
We caught up with handsome puss Max in Montesquieu, where we collected him from owner Malcolm and his daughter Laura. Max travelled with us to Laura’s home in Cumbria.

Malcolm and Laura were on hand to see Max away

Max soon settled into his bedroom for the trip

What a lovely range of furbabies this week, big & small, with their happy owners! I adore some of these names too, like Peanut & Ham-Ham, so sweet

Seeing Ham-Ham, I couldn’t help but wonder if hamsters recognize their names? 🙂

Max has chosen a good place to live.
We have neighbours that look a lot like Max’s neighbours!
It’s really nice to see that there are people who consider their little rodents to be *real* pets and don’t just abandon them when it’s time to move. I know not everyone has the money to do so, but here, they are treated like disposable toys.
You certainly get a diversity of beautiful passengers. I love Ham-Ham! He has very nice accommodations! He must be one very happy little hamster.
Have to agree. There is just something special about Shelties.
What a cute collection of travellers, Annie. I really loved that double Ham and Max neighbours are very impurressive 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Wednesday and have a safe travel ahead
