Having delivered all our passengers from the UK, we headed to Stockholm to collect our Swedish passenger, a cat called Maki, before making our way to Rotterdam to meet Frusty.
On our way to Stockholm we looked for overnight accommodation in the mid west of Sweden,. We followed our noses into the countryside and came upon a rather wonderful place to stay. Not much more than a converted barn, it was quite basic — but absolutely perfect in its bucolic setting on a gloriously sunny day.
Stunning ginger tabby cat Maki belongs to Marta. She works for Proctor and Gamble and frequently relocates for her job. Maki is therefore a well travelled cat. In fact, he’s a returning Animalcouriers passenger, having travelled with us before from Spain to the UK. So we were very pleased to see him again when we collected him in Stockholm for his journey to London.
From Sweden we wended our way to the Netherlands, stopping in Rotterdam to collect Frusty, a gorgeous cat who belongs to Hajar. Hajar and Frusty are relocating to Sutton in Surrey. Frusty will stay at Burntwood Kennels until Hajar catches up.
