Animalcouriers are on their way back from a trip with pets travelling to and from Italy and Greece. Courier Richard made the journey out, then handed over to couriers J and M for the homeward leg.
Bianco and Pardo
Adorable black-and-white cats Bianco and Pardo belong to Elena. As well as looking alike, the cats have similarly playful and friendly natures, and it was a pleasure to have them on board for the journey from London to the Italian city of Bologna.

Pardo, whose distinguishing mark is a black dot on his chin

Bianco’s feature is a white tip to his tail

Elena’s new home wasn’t quite ready for the cats, so she asked us to deliver them to her dad Marco. As you can see, he was delighted to receive them!
Bojo, Mojo and Eva
This energetic trio of little dogs belong to Yvonne. Bojo is a Westie/Bichon Frise, Mojo is a Morkie, and Eva is a fine mixture of several breeds. The dogs travelled with us from London to rejoin Yvonne on the Greek island of Poros. They’re such a lively lot, Yvonne must have really missed their high jinks!

Bojo, Mojo and Eva — full of fun and frolics

Yvonne sent us a photo of her three darlings all settled in to their new home (with a teddy bear that looks bigger than any of them!)
Millie and Poppy
A fine pair of Westies, Millie and Poppy are constant companions who share their lives with Cheryl and John. The couple have relocated from East Sussex to Crete, and now their dogs have joined them. Both dogs enjoy lively, bouncy walks, followed by long deep sleeps.

Lovable, inseparable pair Millie and Poppy
Kali
At three years old, delightful Dalmatian Kali still has plenty of puppy-ish traits. She dashes about and likes to get into everything. Owner Dimitrios has sent her from Leeds to his mum Elisavet in Athens, who’s in for a treat with this lovely girl.

Gorgeous Kali
Toby
Energetic Toby travelled with us from south London to the west of Athens. He took to travelling like a pro, trotting along purposefully on every walk, with his beautiful coat swept back by the breeze.

Delightful Toby
Handover with Akis at Igoumenitsa
What would we do without Akis, our can-do friend in Athens with his pet taxi service? He met up with courier Richard at the Greek port of Igoumenitsa to take charge of the pets’ onward journeys to Athens, Poros and Crete.

Transfer at Igoumenitsa
Sabbath
Sabbath hails from Thessaloniki and is travelling with us to Gateshead upon Tyne. It was no surprise to learn that Jordan, the owner of this gorgeous black cat, is a fan of the legendary rock band Black Sabbath!

Slinky black Sabbath
Levis and Morgana
Courier Richard took the ferry back to Brindisi, where he handed over to couriers J and M for the onward journey. Their first stop was to collect gentle giant Levis and his feline chum Morgana. This delightful duo belong to Antonella and Danilo, who’ve relocated from Policoro in Italy to Bristol.

Handsome big fluffball Levis

Magnificent Morgana
Snowball
Beautiful Siamese Snowball belongs to Michaela, who’s relocating from Bagno a Ripoli to Edinburgh.

Snowball was white as a kitten, hence the name

Yellow — the colour of spring

Star
It’s not that often we transport a hamster! Tiny Star joined us in Turin. She belongs to Beth and her daughter, who are leaving the Italian city of Turin after four years and returning to the UK.

More spring flowers…a type of wild lily perhaps?

Pickle
We called in on Cordelia in the Haute Savoie to collect her beloved Pug Pickle for his journey to London. Despite Pickle’s diminutive size, Cordelia tells us he enjoys going jogging with her. Pickle will have to be content with sedate walks while in our care!

A goodbye hug for Pickle from Cordelia

Alpine views from the Italian side…

…and from our hotel in Mont Blanc

The hotel’s mascot — a bear that looks to enjoy paintballing!
Beautiful flowers and snowy landscapes. Happy looking travelers. I’m not sure the bear enjoys paintball as much as endures it.
Best not to ask the bear in case he is grumpy.
oh what cute passengers… we love the story of snowball that is amazing isn’t it? …the bear had probably the same bad day with paint like the mama last week LOL
Snowball is now as white as the driven slush, but considerably more adorable! Yes, the Mama did have some wonderful paint splashes but also a very sore looking back 🙁 The bear looks to be able to take most things without pain.
Beautiful photos.
Thanks Jovina.
Millie and Poppy remind me of why I will always love Westies…their faces are so beautiful, yet conceal the fierce love and loyalty they will give whoever is lucky enough to have one.
Safe travels to all.
You’re absolutely right about the loyalty. Lovely dogs!
such happy
traveling pets
with an incredible
view 🙂
They were very happy and the view sublime!
The lilies look like Calla lilies. So beautiful! I wish some would volunteer to appear in MY yard.
Mojo looks like he is giving you the stink-eye.
Just not fair that they grow like weeds in some places! We’d like to think it was just sun in Mojo’s eyes 😉
Stunning views as well as handsome passengers.
Always good to look at Mont Blank in the sunshine.
You’ve outdone yourselves with the photos on this trip. Gorgeous travellers, scenery and flowers!
Funny how spring brings out the nature photographer!
Ahhh… another delightful mob. Couldn’t pick out a favorite this time around, but the signs of spring were appreciated all around I’m sure!
Spring is always appreciated!
I laughed at your description of a mutt: A fine mixture of several breeds! 🙂 And the bear. Maybe instead of being a painter, it surprised a painter. –Curt
Ha ha — wonder what that painter was painting with that palette of colours?!
We’re in Awww…Annie, such a sweet bunch of passengers and a little Star on board too…can I have it…oops…that wasn’t me Pawkisses for a Happy Day and safe travel ahead
We’ll pretend no mention was made of Star 😀
