Couriers J and M flew out to take over from courier Paul, to collect pets travelling from Portugal and Spain to the UK.
Lucas
Handsome ginger-tabby-and-white Lucas belongs to Ana, who’s swapped Lousa in Portugal for Nottinghamshire. We collected Lucas from Katia, a vet nurse who’s been taking care of him since Ana went on ahead.

Abbey
Friendly Bichon-Westie cross Abbey is the beloved pet of June, who checks in with us regularly to find out how Abbey is doing. Well, Abbey travelled like a pro! Her journey took her from Lisbon in Portugal to Surrey.

Abbey joined courier M for morning coffee at the hotel. She likes hotels because everyone stops to talk to her!

A cheeky look from Abbey on a breezy walk

Around her smart hotel it was quite a rural environment. As you can see, it was a suitably breezy day for someone to hang their washing out!
Chico, Summer and Munchkin
Lynda and her husband are leaving Portugal behind and returning to the UK, along with the three beloved hounds, Chico, Summer and Munchkin.

All three dogs settled in and ready for the off
Nala
In Andalusia we collected splendid Portuguese Water Dog Nala. She belongs to Alan, but has shown a certain amount of jealousy towards the children in the family. So Alan is sending Nala to his sister Susan in the UK, who will train her.

…and making a convincing bid for ‘longest tongue’

Coconut
Gorgeous Golden Retriever Coconut is relocating from Seville to Hertfordshire with his family, who are moving for work.

Coconut knows how to pose for a portrait!

Friends and neighbours turned out to wish Coconut ‘bon voyage’

Cheerful Coconut enjoying a morning walk, but didn’t fancy being harnessed to this little carriage!
Lexi and Oscar
This playful pair of Cavapoos have become frequent Animalcouriers passengers, as they split their time with devoted owner June between Manilva in Spain and Hampshire.

Lexi and Oscar gave us a very warm greeting when we arrived to collect them from June
Charlie
Cocker Spaniel Charlie belongs to Stephanie, who’s escaped Brexit Britain and moved to Estepona in Spain.

Huge hello hugs for darling Charlie in Estepona
Snowdon
Well named Snowden is a snowy-white puss who belongs to Mike. Snowden travelled with us from Malaga in Spain to Poole.

Snowden gets a proper send-off

A closer look at adorable Snowden

Looking fierce — just yawning, actually!
Charly
King Charles Cavalier Charly belongs to Marina and Anthony. This dear fellow has become a frequent passenger as he and his owners split their time between South London and Marbella.

Marina was over the moon to be reunited with Charly in Marbella. She told us she’d really missed him.

We found a wonderful place to stay in the countryside behind Malaga in Pizarra — dubbed ‘valley of the sun’ by the locals

Inexpensive accommodation, a warm welcome for the dogs (including titbits from the owner), and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside
Henry and Cassie
Delightful Dalmatian Henry and Podenco Cassie made the trip with us from Malaga to Essex to rejoin owner Sharon and family. Sharon wrote to say:
“Just to let you know both kids are settling in well and we want to thank you SO much; they seem completely unfazed by their journey, they are shattered but very happy and they look great. Obviously they have had an unstressful and hassle free experience for which I am very grateful.”

A super photo from Sharon of Cassie and Henry in their new Essex home
Lola and Mini
Beautiful tabby cats Lola and Mini travelled with us from Glasgow in Scotland to rejoin their family in Granada.

Both cats proved to be quite camera shy!
Professor Nuggles
Another Animalcouriers frequent passenger, we were pleased to see dear little Yorkie Nuggles again. After a lovely sojourn with owners George and Judy in Roquetas de Mar, everyone’s now on their way back to Lancashire.

Goodbye cuddles for the Professor

“Love you Nuggles,” called Judy, as we pulled away
What adorable passengers!
I think Nala is definitely in the contenders for longest tongue and Coconut is in with a shot at biggest smile!
Biggest smile — that would be a very difficult competition! So many first prizes 😀
Lots of happy passengers this time around – so many of them are used to traveling and know they will be reunited with their families at the end of their journey. Lots of beautiful sunny places!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
They do settle in quickly when they know the routine. The sun does make for better photos!
Anytime you need someone to go to sunny Spain to bring back our furry friends just let me know 😉
And Coconut has my heart already. I adore golden retrievers!
Caz xx
Sorry to reply so late but your comment went into the spam 🙁 You and courier M have a big thing about goldens then! We’ll keep you on the long list 😀
Super photos indeed.
Thanks Jovina.
Happiness all around. Snowden does have a fierce yawn.
Quite scary if you didn’t know better.
Who can ever read an Animal Couriers post without smiling? Surely, not me. I always love to see the wondrous animals and humans who adore them. Life as it should be on every continent.
Safe journeys.
We aim to please! They were a lovely group of passengers 😀
smiling, furry travelers
make me smile 🙂
It is infectious!
That is a ferocious look from Snowden. Glad to know the longest tongue contest is still alive and well. 🙂 Abbey looks like trouble! –Curt
Snowden did have a momentary scary look but is a big love. Sadly we don’t have enough contenders for a full blown quiz.
Loved the shot of Lola -or was that Mini? What a gorgeous cross Abbey is! Lovely to see a mix of two of my favorite breeds. Snowden’s ferocious imitation was pretty good. Love seeing all your wonderful passengers, as always.
Ha ha, they’re not letting on! Abbey is a great cross — she loves an audience 😉
So sweet and adorable passengers and I was deeply impurressed about that Snowden yawn…MOL MOL 😀 Pawkissesfor a wonderful and safe trip ahead to all of you
Snowden couldn’t be further than that scary face!
