Animalcouriers made a recent journey through France, Spain and Portugal. We reunited cats and dogs who travelled with us from Scotland and England, and collected pets making their way to the UK.
Monty
Handsome ginger-and-white puss Monty travelled with us from London, where he’s lived with owner Carolyn for three years. Now he’s returned to his old stomping ground in the Limoges region of France.

Boo Boo
Dapper Pug Boo Boo travelled with us from Staffordshire to start a new life in Menorca with owner Louise.

A warm welcome for Boo Boo
Bianca
Super friendly hound Bianca, who belongs to Asuncion, made the journey with us from London to Barcelona.

Gorgeous Bianca back in Barcelona
Bubba and Betty
Jack Russell Terrier Bubba and Patterdale Terrier Betty travelled with us from Doncaster to rejoin owners Tracey and husband in Monovar in Spain. Quite a change in climate for them all to enjoy!

Lexi and Oscar
Lexi and Oscar, a gorgeous pair of Cavapoos, travelled with us from Hampshire to Manilva in Spain, where they’re holidaying with owner June.

Lexi and Oscar were so excited to see June

Finally, a rare moment of stillness!
Smokey
Stylish and well named cat Smokey joined us for the journey from Gibraltar to Southampton. Owners Dawn and Reuben are relocating to the UK where Reuben has a new Navy posting.

It’s hard to believe that Smokey is 16 years old!
Mo and Freddy
Terrier mix Freddy was very excited to meet us and explore his bedroom in our van. He and his feline chum Mo belong to Sandy, who went on ahead from Lisbon in Portugal to Hertfordshire.

Lively little Freddy

Gorgeous Mo
Klimt and Zeppelin
This splendid pair of cats belong to Marin and partner, who’ve been living in Lisbon for a couple of years. Now they’ve moved to London and their cats followed hot on their heels.

Klimt and Zeppelin, a very bonded pair and good as gold on the trip

Keeva and Sky
Jack Russell mother and son Keeva and Sky hail from South Africa. After a few months living in Portugal, they made the move to Essex. A very cool and calm pair of travellers.

Fossil
Super slinky Fossil travelled with us all the way from London to Braga in Portugal. She chose to stay in her travel bag, popping her head out every now and then to say hello. She also had a keen interest in mealtimes!

Bobby and Tammy
Lovely Yorkie Bobby and his cat friend Tammy travelled from Valencia with our colleagues from Automascotas, to join our trip in Burgos. Another cat, Missy, went AWOL on collection day. She has since been retrieved and will join us on our next trip through Spain.

Bobby had just had a haircut and was looking very youthful for a nine-year-old

Gorgeous Tammy is quite a well rounded puss who makes Bobby look extra small!
Davros and Storm
An adorable pair of four-month-old Sphinx kittens, Davros and Storm also arrived with Automascotas. They travelled with us to Essex, to Annika and family. Annika wrote to say:
“Just want to say a massive thank you for getting our cats to us safe & sound, such a wonderful service. The children are ecstatic — well, we all are!!”

Davros and Storm proved to be bold and curious about everything
Rony
In Bilbao we collected suave ginger tabby Rony, from owner Ainara’s mum. Ainara has moved to Stratford upon Avon and now Rony has now travelled to join her.

Splendid Rony
Jack
We called in on Rowan and Tracy to collect their delightful black cat, Jack. When Rowan was working on a hedge one hot summer’s day, a frightened feral kitten begged him for some water. This happened several more times over the next few days. Finally the kitten plucked up his courage and launched himself onto Rowan’s shoulder. And that’s how Rowan and Tracy came to adopt Jack.
Now Rowan and Tracy are returning to live in Wales, and their priority is for Jack to travel comfortably and stress free while they complete their move.

Rowan and dear Jack
I’m a fan of sphinx cats, they are fabulous!!! and yes, that is super hard to believe that smokey is 16 years old… I thought he is a youngster… ;O)
They are always some of the friendliest passengers. Smokey was as active as a youngster.
Such lovely passengers. They seem to be far more behaved than the human sort.
Yup, we know who we’d choose every time 😉
Such lucky and well-loved and cared for pets……traveling can be stressful but this whole gang of travelers looked quite comfy.
Pam
