After crossing from Greece we stopped off for more collections in Italy, before making our way to Calais. When we reached the UK, it was time for happy reunions.
We collected Springer/Labrador cross Scrabble from the NATO base at Lago Patria. Owner Kevin, who manages staffing at the base, carefully organised things so that he could be on hand to see Scrabble away.
Scrabble is travelling with us as Kevin is about to go on operations where he can’t have Scrabble with him. So Scrabble is off to spend some quality time with Kevin’s parents in Great Yarmouth.
Lovely Mastiff pup Luna hails from the Chianti area. She’s at the age where she lollops around adorably and chews anything she can find! She’s on her way to Lara in London.
At Padua airport we were pleased to catch up with delightful tabby cat Cleo. She travelled with us three years ago to Croatia when owners Deborah and Sean relocated. Now the family is heading back to Haywards Heath.
While on holiday in Croatia Claire rescued three tiny tabby-and-white kittens she found abandoned with no sign of their mum. She contacted us for help and we were able to advise her on the steps to go through to bring them to the UK. The kittens joined our trip in Padua, travelling with Traces certificates as well as passports.
