After dropping off passengers who travelled with us from the UK, we set off on our return journey, collecting pets on their way to the UK from southern Europe.
Breeze, Purdey and Amy
This fine trio of well behaved Labradors belong to Simon and Julie. They’re travelling home to West Yorkshire from Loule on the Portuguese Algarve, where they’ve spent the summer.

Amy, Breeze and Purdey

Julie and Simon settling their beloved hounds in for the journey

The girls often try to steal Breeze’s supper, so here he is having a bit of privacy while he eats!

We called in at Barking Mad Kennels in Bensafrim to catch up with our old friends Heather and Alan. Here’s Heather greeting us with her little dog Hope.
Electra
While on holiday near Faro Marilia met and fell in love with a little dog named Electra. Marilia’s sister, Marisa, has been Electra’s guardian angel, helping to get Electra ready to travel to her new home in the UK.

Marilia, Amadou, Yakub, Marisa and Electra

The darling girl herself

Passing an ironworks in La Mancha, we enjoyed the sculptures on display

We weren’t sure who this was — the ironworks’ founder perhaps?

No doubting this one’s identity, however — the man from La Mancha himself, Don Quixote!
Rocky
Another lovely Lab — Rocky belongs to Russell and family. He travelled with us from Cadiz to Nottingham.

Smiling Rocky

A happy reunion for Rocky and Russell in the UK
Ollie and Tiggs
This charming dog-and-cat duo belong to Angie, a nurse working in Gibraltar. Now, 14 years on, Angie has decided to return to her roots and her family in Middlesbrough.

Dear Ollie

Friendly Tiggs

Also very chatty!
Oli
Oli’s owner works in the diving business in the Lagos area of Portugal. Her working hours made it difficult for her to give Oli all the attention he needs, so she decided it would be better for Oli to live with her dad in Glasgow.

Oli is very alert and always looking for something to chase!

Oli happy to be back in Scotland
Ori
While on holiday Becci met Ori, one of a litter of pups born on a nearby farm. It was love at first sight and now, at the age of four months, Ori is finally ready to travel to his new UK home with Becci.

Ori — a little hound destined to grow into a big dog!
Mitzi
Beautiful Siamese Mitzi belongs to Dan, who’s already relocated back to Ireland, so we collected her from Residencia Canina, a kennels and cattery near Cala de Mijas in Malaga. It appears she has Dan completely wound round her dainty paw, so we were warned to take no nonsense from her!

Irresistible Mitzi
Louis, Oscar, Archie and Maisie
These four sweet Yorkies travelled with us to Rojales to join owner Kym and her husband for the summer. Now it’s time to return to the UK, and Kym asked us once again to transport her beloved pets.

Oscar and Maisie

Louis and Archie. Poor Archie developed an allergy while on holiday — possibly owing to the heat — hence the cone of shame…
Ori
Another Ori! We met Jack Russell Terrier Ori in Alicante. He’s travelling with us to rejoin owner Myra in Surrey.

Handsome Ori out for a walk
Mowgli
Mowgli, a very cute Maltese Terrier, belongs to Kate. He travelled with us from Alhaurin el Grande, in Malaga, to Liverpool, where Kate’s mum Sue was waiting to welcome him.

Mowgli was keen on the idea of riding in the cab of our van

We let him try out the passenger seat (aka the mobile admin unit) for a few moments

Happy arrival in Liverpool
Orion
Gorgeous tabby-and-white puss Orion joined our trip in Madrid. He’s on his way to be reunited with owner Miguel in Glasgow.

A winsome look from Orion
Prim
Delightful cat Prim travelled from Barcelona to rejoin owner Gemma in Northampton.

Prim is a very pretty girl

A happy reunion with Gemma
Luna
Delightful puss Luna started her journey in Venezuela, from where she flew to Barcelona. Now she’s travelling by road with us to London to rejoin Gabriel and family.

Calm and peaceful, Luna takes travelling in her stride
Harper and Giza
Our final collection was Lucy Rose’s adorable ferrets, Harper and Giza, in Barcelona. Their journey took them to Oxfordshire where they were reunited with their delighted owner.
Lovely load of pets. Love the sculptures.
We love them too, shame we don’t know more about them.
I know I will always find lovely pets here, but the ferrets took me by surprised. Cute little fellas, aren’t they?!
Glad to see Don Quixote represented – one of my favorites. I saw Howard Keel portray him on stage.
They’re very cute and great company, always on the go. How very lucky to see Howard Keel!

You and Ori could certainly get up to some wonderful fun and games!
Awwww! Little stink-weasels!
Aren’t they gorgeous!
What delightful passengers! Prim is gorgeous…….but all the animals on these trips are gorgeous and happy – feeling comfy during their journeys. Always a thrill to see pets reunited with their humans!
Pam and Teddy
We thought Prim was rather special too!
What a great looking group.
Handsome as always.
I never expected to see the words adorable and ferrets so close to each other. 🙂
Ferrets and trousers better?
