Animalcouriers recently set off to Spain with passengers from the UK. Because deliveries were quite spread out, and there were plenty of pets to bring back, four couriers went out in two vans.
Couriers M and Paul went to Alicante, Andalusia, Granada and Seville, while couriers J and Matthew headed for Madrid.
Energetic young Collie Kieda is swapping south London for Alicante in Spain, where owner Roselyn has relocated to work in tourism.
Dapper tuxedo cat Tonto started his journey in Kinloss, Scotland, and travelled all the way to the warmer climes of north-east Spain. A brief stopover with Animalcouriers in Surrey helped him get used to increasingly warmer temperatures!
Duke and Pixie
Alaskan Malamute Duke and tabby cat Pixie travelled from County Durham to Andalusia to join owners Sheila and David. When we collected Duke from kennels, he was a bit reluctant to get in our van, but some tasty ham soon changed his mind. In no time at all, it became second nature for him to hop and in out for his walks.
Kathy and Neska
Yorkshire Terrier Kathy and Podenco cross Neska got on board in the historic seaport of Bristol. They travelled with us to the even more historic city of Granada, to rejoin owner Ana. Ana’s been working in the UK as a chef, and told us she’s even mastered the art of the Sunday roast, complete with Yorkshire pudding!
Shar Pei Melisa joined our trip in Cambridge. She’s now back with owner Rebecca who’s returned to the beautiful Spanish city of Seville after having a baby.
Chumley, Milo and Ginger
These much loved pets are moving with their owners from Wolverhampton to Ontynient. We took them as far as Madrid, where our colleague Gerencia took over for the rest of the journey.
