on the road with Animalcouriers

Two cats flying to Italy, nine dogs flying from Greece to the UK

Courier J accompanied two cats flying to Italy from the UK. She then boarded another flight to Athens, where she met up with courier M and nine dogs flying from Greece to the UK.

Misty and Ghost

A gorgeous pair of cats, Misty and Ghost homeboarded with Animalcouriers before flying to Puglia in Italy. Following a health check at the vet, they travelled to London Heathrow with courier J and flew with her as baggage.

Rob delighted to be reunited with Misty and Ghost. He told us there was a very excited welcoming committee waiting at home, and that the cats were in for a proper spoiling!

Dogs flying from Greece

Our canine passengers hailed from Athens, Lemnos and Lesvos.

Checking in at Athens airport. There were a few moments of worry at first, as officials could find no record of our booking for the dogs.

Our good friend. Akis, who operates a pet taxi service in Athens, stepped in to help. Eventually, everything was sorted and the process could start.

Eleni was at Athens airport bright and early with Camelia. Eleni offered us very welcome hot coffees and a delicious Greek take on panettone.

Zarlie is quite the fluffball — from Athens we flew in to Paris Charles de Gaulle, where courier Richard met us for the onward journey by road to the UK. At Calais, where we stopped for dog walks before boarding the Eurotunnel, it was pretty windy, as you can see!

I totally love the name pretzel… and hey the dog on the sticker of the cat carrier looks like a weimaraner ;o) is it one ?

Isn’t it the best name! You know it does, just glad there wasn’t a Weimaraner squished in there 😀

    World travelers – all.

I believe the animals settle in so quickly because you make certain they’re not traumatized by their travels.

Thanks GP! Consistent faces on journeys certainly help to keep them calm.

Another load of cuties. We could use some of that rain.

Isn’t it a great shame we can’t all have what we ‘need’ in the way of rain.

I love the picture of Zarlie! There are few things nicer than a breeze playing with your fur.

Zarlie’s fluffy coat does make you smile and it looked quite marvellous in the wind!

Oh, what a flight that must have been, kitties, you both still have the big eyes 😀 We had a little MOL on the carrier. Granny was reading Icat…no not me, Annie, I knew it was 1cat 😀 Glad they’re all back safe and sound 🙂 Pawkisses for a Happy Day and safe travels ahead 🙂 <3

The sights must have been eye opening for them both 😀 Ha! Icat. We’re sure such a thing will exist at some stage…

What adorable animals………everyone paving the way for them to all have a safe and happy transition from old home to new which if not for AC, they would be most likely confused about! Lovely photos…….and again, more “satisfied customers” !!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

I can’t even imagine how difficult it is to coordinate all of these successful journeys!!
All the photos show such well-behaved animals – I’m afraid Charly and Spike wouldn’t make good candidates for air travel!!
    Have a great weekend!

We'd love to hear from you
