Animalcouriers returned from Portugal and Spain with UK-bound cats, dogs and a tiny rabbit on board.
Nami
Cute and friendly Nami left Viseu in Portugal to join owner Stacey in Surrey. Stacey, who originally hails from South Africa, is completing vet nurse training in the UK and looking forward to working in the area.

We love Nami’s expressive ears! Here he is having a goodbye cuddle with Marciu, who took care of him for a few days until we called in to collect him.

Nami enjoying the view from our hotel near Vélez in Malaga. After almost non-stop rain, it was a treat for everyone to see blue skies.

A happy Reigate reunion for Stacey and Nami
Bagheera
We collected gorgeous puss Bagheera in Almancil, on the Portuguese Algarve, for his journey to Middlesex to rejoin owner Asha. Bagheera is part Siamese, so is quite the conversationalist!

Misha was on hand to give Bagheera a proper send-off

Bagheera has all the glossy black good looks of his Jungle Book namesake
Simba
Mastiff Simba is on his way back to the UK with owner Shaun, after a period living in the Malaga region. Despite his size, Simba is still a puppy at heart and was keen to play with tiny Nami. Even though Nami was completely on for it, we thought it wiser to keep them at a safe distance.

We were super excited to spot a hoopoe
Duke
Handsome tabby Duke travelled with us from the seaside resort of Torremolinos in Malaga to Surrey, as owner Noella has a new pub to manage in Kingston. Couriers M and Paul promised to pop in for a pint sometime.

Noella hands over her beloved Duke for the journey

And here he is up close, gorgeous fellow

As we left Noella’s, we spotted a rainbow along the coast. The little fishing boat in the foreground of the photo is one of many along the beach that are filled with sand and used as barbecues for cooking freshly caught sardines.
Mango
Tiny rabbit Mango belongs to Carmen and Tom who love her dearly. They split their time between an isolated village high in the Sierra Nevada and the city of Edinburgh. We were drafted in to get Mango safely from Spain to Scotland.

Bolly and Bertie
These two firm feline friends, both Siamese, are returning Animalcouriers clients. They’ve been soaking up the sun in Campasol in Spain, but now it’s time to head back to Essex and brace themselves for the Beast from the East. Owner Tina has enjoyed her time in Spain, but is looking forward to spending time with her family in the UK.

A very big thank you to Animalcouriers for transporting our 2 cats from Spain to the uk, it was the second time I’ve used them, they provide excellent service and really do care for the animals they transport, with regular updates given. Bolly & Bertie are settling back into uk life and although I know they’re not keen on being away from us, I felt happy to know they were in good hands.

Thank you Christina. It was a pleasure to transport Bolly & Bertie again. They’re stoical about the trips but always pleased to be home with you! Hope they and you aren’t finding the weather too chilly back in blighty.
Love those those faces.
Hard not to.
I love seeing all the different pets, they are all so cute. That rainbow was pretty amazing.
A lovely bunch indeed. The rainbow was a good catch by courier M!
Excellent photos.
The couriers aren’t doing too badly 😉
Yeah, I love those ears too, what a cutie 🙂 Now we can see clearly where the pot of gold must be, Annie 😀 Great pictures! Pawkisses for a wonderful day and safe travel ahead 🙂 <3
Thanks Little B! Suspect we’ll be journeying a while before we get to that pot of gold 😉
What lovely animals – that is one very wee rabbit indeed! Too bad some of these sweeties are having to leave WARM for COLD but that’s the way things are when you’re a world traveler!
Hugs, Pam and Ted too
They’d all rather be with their peeps, even if it is COLD 😀
Lovely photos as always! We used to have two huge mastiffs (150 and 200 pounds) and they were good friends with our miniature poodle (17 pounds). Mastiffs are gentle creatures and even in play they can be gentle. We never worried about our baby with them, either. Too bad Simba and Nami missed out on an opportunity to play! I understand your concern, since you don’t know Simba well enough to be certain about his attitude, but the breed is generally quite sweet.
Yes, we love mastiffs and didn’t have any worries at all about Simba. It would have been lovely to let them play.
BUNNY RABBIT!
And one with the wildest punk hairdo!
