Pets fly to Kuwait, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia

Animalcouriers recently organised for pets to fly to Kuwait, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia.

Bridget the Midget to Kuwait

On a wet morning in London, Animalcouriers met tiny Yorkshire Terrier Bridget and her owner Jody off the train from north-east England. We arranged for Bridget’s Defra export certificate to be completed, then her paperwork was whisked into London to be legalised by the Kuwaiti Embassy.

Jody got in touch to say:

“Legislation changes / documentation requirements etc, an absolute nightmare of paperwork to be sorted. I left all of this to the Animalcouriers team. No problems at all, and Bridget the Midget arrived safe and sound. Nicest thing for me, as Bridget is only a puppy, were the ongoing updates, pictures and reassurance that all was in hand. She’s all settled in now and adapting to the heat. Thank you all for getting her here safely.”

Henry and Orlando to Hong Kong

Even smaller than Bridget, these two Hermanii tortoises flew to Hong Kong to join their family. Hermanii tortoises are a CITES-protected species, so these two pets were accompanied by quite a pile of paperwork. They had to have CITES export certificates issued in the UK, plus a special permit from the Hong Kong government. They also had to be tested for salmonella.

Winnie, Boomer and Laddy to New Zealand

These three dogs travelled to Auckland to rejoin their respective families.

Diva to Australia

Darling Diva, a Tibetan Mastiff, was born in Russia, then moved to the UK for a while in order to comply with Australia’s strict entry requirements. She joined Bono, whose travel we arranged three years ago.

Bridget’s name tickled us pink! Not the best arrangement for Diva but she’s got a great new playmate.

Oh, the trials of traveling but your passengers seem to be taking it in stride.

Traveling/moving with pets simply would be a nightmare if not for you all at Animal Couriers. You know the rules/what paperwork is required and I know the pets are WAY more comfy with the travel arrangements you do than they would otherwise be. Bravo for AC!

    Hugs, Pam

That’s so sweet of you Pam! We do have a member of the team who knows pet air travel inside out — we’re so pleased to have her on board 😀

P.S. I was also interested in your election this past Sunday. Oh, my.

We have all sorts! Yup, that election had rather a good result. Here’s to seeing if he can get enough MPs to form a strong government…

We do end up transporting many tortoises — they are obviously easy passengers but there are so many types!
