A quick round trip to the Republic of Ireland

Animalcouriers is finding that many pets are moving between England and the Republic of Ireland, so we've set up a regular route. Courier Richard made the most recent trip, taking a cat on the way out, and coming back with a dog. We also received news of Maggie, a rescue dog who travelled with us from Greece four years ago. Pets fly to Kuwait, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia

Animalcouriers recently organised for pets to fly to Kuwait, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia. Bridget the Midget to Kuwait On a wet morning in London, Animalcouriers met tiny Yorkshire Terrier Bridget and her owner Jody off the train from north-east England. We arranged for Bridget’s Defra export certificate to be completed, then her paperwork was whisked into London to be legalised by the Kuwaiti Embassy. Pets travelling to and from Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden

Courier Richard recently undertook two whistlestop tours with pets travelling to and from Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden. His first trip took in Berlin, The Hague and Schiphol airport. A few days later, he travelled to Denmark and Sweden, then home via Hamburg. When is VAT payable on pets entering the UK from outside the EU?

For the latest information about VAT relating to pets being repatriated or imported into Great Britain, see our post-Brexit blog.
